Just bought a new front bumper from APtech the N3-R, also bought new headlights from Yunique L.E.D.

Started installing the boosted performance kit 2 days ago pretty much done with everything but the turbo, turbo water lines, fuel pump and last intercooler piping that goes to the turbo. Turbo should be in tomorrow and fuel pump I think i'm missing something so waiting back for a email. Also my new front bumper should be in tomorrow as well.

Keep in mind the only thing I ever done to my car engine wise was Z1 long tube intake and installing test pipes. I found this kit very easy to install.

How much for the test pipes and how much louder do they make the Z? They will fit with factory Ypipe?

 

They retail for about 230 new so probably around 150 shipped. It is much louder than stock cats, in fact it was so much louder and more raspy that I got the Motordyne XYZ with resonator which really made everything sound so much better. All these parts have 15k or less miles on them. I wont be selling anything until I get my car up and running first, after that I will make the appropriate post for each item.

I finally got my turbo in today and I will be installing it with the water lines and everything else tomorrow. After that i'll just be waiting on my base map to be sent and then off to ConceptZPerformance for tuning.



Also got my new front bumper in from APtech and will have this painted probably in a couple weeks as I rather focus on getting my car up and running and tuned before I worry about paint.
Front bumper is not bolted on it's only being held on by the force of the hood

same thing happened to an daily old chevy truck I had for a circa-2011 ... chick said her dog kicked the truck out of gear! great build and way to rebound!

 

Got some pics of my finished custom pillar pod from GaleForce from the370z.com. Getting my car tuned on Thursday then taking the my car to get the front bumper painted. My new custom headlights should be done in about 2 weeks as well. Finally almost done with everything, for now at least.

 

Got the pillar pod installed. Facing pretty high tbh, higher than it should.



Also received my new custom headlights, these will be install tomorrow.

 

Headlights look good! What options did you get and how long was the turnaround?

Sorry to hear about your engine, but the Camaro is an awesome car... I was thinking about a new M3/M4 as my new car, but then the Camaro came out... and the 1LE package... Yum.

I have had a couple people message me the last couple days about my Z. I ended up pulling the turbo kit and selling that locally. I then sold the car and everything in it to a friend who is going to build it back up.

So I no longer have anything left to sell and wont be reading much on this forum anymore as I no long have a Z. Thanks for all the information in the few short years I owned a Z.

 

Being a latecomer to this thread, I never saw any mention on what happened to this HR!? Seemed like a lot of parts being accumulated and then...BOOM? Even did a look through the OP's other threads and couldn't find a thread on what happened?

 

I am curious too, I have the same car and turbo kit. I wonder if it was just a higher mileage engine that let go. In one of the pics I see 83,??? for miles. The HR's dont seem to be fairing too well. I am already planning my built longblock hopefully a built block gets me a little further down the road.
