Default My 350z hr build

I finally feel like I have made enough progress to justify my own build thread. Most of these are things I have already done but there will be a few more to come. I have just bought boosted performance turbo kit and a koyo radiator. I'm talking with Galeforce from the370z forum via email to get a custom single pod pillar made for my 350z. Also I will be picking up AEM failsafe wideband/boost gauge soon.

So far I have already done:

BC coilovers
Hotchkis sway bars
Whiteline endlinks
Cusco strut tower brace
SPC Front & Rear Camber Arms
SPC Rear Camber Cam Bolts
Zspeed HD master & slave
Zspeed undershroud
JWT clutch and flywheel
Z1 long tube intakes
ExaoticSpeed exhaust
Invidia test pipes
Motordyne xyz with resonator
Akebono BBK with ss lines
Z1 2 piece front rotor
Gaugecraft custom gauge lighting
2012 Nismo wheels with BFG Gefore comp2 245/40/19 285/35/19
Tinted the windows (must here in arizona)
DRL's
Android Tablet install
Uprev dyno tuned
Diode Dynamics LED everything inside and out
repainted the car

First day I bought the car a little over 3 years ago

The very first mod I did was BBK I just really liked the looks

Nismo wheels with tires mounted

Getting my cluster back from gaugecrafts

Getting a bunch of random things in

Anytime I did any work to the Z this guy would always chill with me.

First time doing this, felt very good after it was finally done

Uprev tuned done

Tablet installed

New VQ Vortex steering wheel

How she basically looks today (When I had the car repainted I asked for same color but it obviously came out darker) Few more things to come soon.

Not doing any tracking. I made a thread a little bit ago about the tablet, it's not a DIY but a few steps I took to make it. https://my350z.com/forum/exterior-an...2-install.html

I found out my master cylinder was bad so I ordered a new rebuild from zspeed. I had the silver one I think the black one is the better version so that's cool.

Also got my new radiator in

Should be getting my custom single pillar gauge pod in 4-6 weeks and by then I should have my Boost Performance single turbo kit in so I can get to work.

Sub'd. Curious to see how the comp turbo performs. Did you use the 6267 that comes standard with Sasha's kit?

Your car is looking great! You've done some nice things with it and I'm sure that you get plenty of attention when you are out and about. I love the color also hehe! Good luck with the other things that you've got going on with this fine HR!

My boost/wideband AFR gauge came in today. Tracking number shows my boosted performance kit should be in on Friday. After that i'll be just waiting on Galeforce custom gauge pillar. I was surprised when he said no 350z had this pillar yet, considering how nice it looks. More pics to come as everything start coming in.

As more things are coming in my gaming room has become my parts storage. I'm going to install my 30 row oil cooler and koyo radiator this weekend. Only thing i'm waiting on now is the turbo and the gauge pod. I took a few days off last week of next month, going to install everything else then.

That steering wheel looks amazing!!! How does it feel driving? I really never liked the noodle-thin steering wheeel in my 350 and I've never seen any viable options that leave all the buttons and airbag in place. The web site says out of stock. Any idea if they can make them to order still? oh, and love those z34 nismo wheels...

The steering wheels feels great! I also didn't like the "noodle-thin" steering wheel which is one of the main reason I got a new one. I also wanted a wheel that would retain all factory buttons and airbags. The Z is not exactly the safest car out there, no reason to remove what little safety it has.

As far as order the wheel goes, yes it is made to order. I think mine took about 3 weeks to arrive from the time I placed my order to the time I received it.

Another question, Steelcyclone, no doubt the CF bits are hard, but how hard are the perforated leather bits? Is there any squishiness to it? Or is it very firm to the touch as well?

So envious. CARB won't let us do that kind of stuff in California. Even if the car passed emissions, they won't let you have a turbo unless it's factory. So stupid. Regulations for regulations sake. A company can spend a couple $M for a CARB certification and then sell products in CA. Anywho, I'm subscribing or what should be an epic thread here...

Well I come out from work to see this. The guy drives a manual didn't put his truck in gear and didn't engage the e brake. He left his truck and it simply rolled on over to my Z of course.

Good news is it's just the front bumper and my DLR that have been damaged. I been thinking about getting a new aftermarket bumper anyways. Now it's pretty much free.
