Hello z guys i have a question about the vq35hr ive had mine since april last year put about 15000 miles on it some hard some not my odometer says 168k but the prevoius owner and his mechanic who also did my clutch says the engine has had extensive work done and it never uses a drop of oil ever .pressure is normal no matter of i run it hard never uses any oil any thoughts as to why bc ive heard this engine is notoroius for oil comsumption

 

Hrs are not known for consumption

 

Rev-Up engines have a bad reputation. Other 3.5 Motors not so much.

 

Would you feel better if it did use oil?

Most Hrs don't consume any noticeable oil, although mine does have a fuel smell to it.
