OK I got a new Catagory: Who's been the first to have their 350Z Destroyed?
My Car was killed today
Well let’s see, ME?
Today at 10:10am 02/06/03 some blind F#@%*ker rear ended me and shortened my car by about 12" and managed to launch me into the rear on a Jaguar. The old guy was about 80 years old driving a 1970ish olds with the reflexes of a snail.
I was at a complete stop waiting for the jag to make a left when all as I could see was the olds coming up on my rear. I had enough time to think of moving out of the way but there was so much trafic I couldn't move, all as I could do was wait and watch. BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!
I got Pic
Mine was declared totaled and the estimate was only 8k to repair. They said the parts were so backordered being so new that the storage and rental fees would be rediculous......like 3- and 4 months backoreded. a few pics...
OK guys I need condolences and lots and lots of advice on how to deal with ICBC. Thers no way I want a car that will never be the same and now has major deminished value because of major damage.

There wasn't any frame damage according to the shop, It was the one my Nissan dealer uses.....their own collision center, I figured they would be best for getting parts....

Everyone at Bankston Nissan (my dealer) and Bankston Collision Center was shocked it was totaled. I'm glad to be getting a new one though anyway, better new then patched. But I miss it.....that was April 25th and I'm counting the days till I get a deal worked out on ARZ #5

Oops...posted the wrong pic. The one above shows the push to total it. The frame was fine but where the door V'd in on my seat (only bruised a leg) it pushed against the seat and caused the thin floor to buckle (right there were the seat rails bolt down) Only 8grand but the guys told me most companies will fix it but that StateFarm usually totals them out.....StateFarm told me it was the backorded parts that did it.
Good luck with yours, maybe you'll be luckier than I was. Here is the pic I was looking for...

I don't think you have anythig to worry about.....I would bet that it is totalled....only be concerned that your depreciation doesn't upside down you on what you owed.....
My first and second Z's are fine. #1 was sold to my buddy in 99 or 2000 and has 160k miles on stock turbos running 13.5psi (sitting outside right now) the other is down in Central Texas doing I don't know what....
