Ok so I have been looking around tire shops in Calgary and they are all quoting me around the 1600$ mark for what I need.

need two 225/50 R17
and two 235/50 R17

is this what a brand new set sell for in Alberta? or have I not done enough research?

 

That is close to what I was quoted when I shopped for these a few years ago. I ordered from the Tirerack, and even after shipping, duty and brokerage fees I saved over $500 on a set of 4.

 

yup, snow tires in those sizes are $$$

i pmed you about a set i was gouged on last yr, that i do not need.

350z just can fit any snowbaords (and would be ridiculous on the backroads) so i needed another pathfinder.

I have a set of OEM 350z Rims with Winter tires mounted already.

I will sell the whole set for $600.

Two fronts with Blizzak tires (in great shape 3500KM) and 2 rears with artic aplin tires (less than 1000KM).

For anyone, where's the best place in town to get a set of winters for the 350z? I'm having a hard time finding a place that has any decent tires in the right sizes...

I bought from Tirerack around this time last year, my experience was similar to 350zfan's. The exchange is pretty steep right now so you'll want to check the final total before you hit 'check out'.

 

I had my 19"s installed for 1500 in edmonton.
