Default SSR sp1 on the way!!

just ordered my ssr professor sp1 in black(will be nice on ppw) but won't get it until mid january next year b/c it is a special. i want to ask do i need aligment at all after the rims is on the Z?? i am going 245/40/18x9 front and 275/40/18x10 rear. is this tire setup ok or not?? first time i do aftermarket wheels so i am excited about it. can't wait to share some pics with you!!
also do i need to lower the car? if so you prefer tein s tech or eibach? i want to maintain the comfort of my ride!

You won't need alignment with just new wheels as long as the car still drives straight, with lowering springs you will though.

I'm going with the Hothkis springs on my car. Eibach is too low, I don't want to have to mess with camber rods and all that.

I have same rim (but 18X9 at front, and 18 X 10.5 at rear) with same size of tires. The tire size will fit and look fine (the rear will be a bit stretch, but make your car looks like drift car). Lower it will definate make car looks better. I used RS-R Titanium.

Congrat for getting this rim. It looks very very good. I alwasy get head turns after I got the rim.
