Question Ayone have Kuhmo Ecsta ASX tires on their car...

Im thinking of getting a set but I wanted to get some feed back from current owners.

Please post your thought/experience with the tires and:

road noise
tread life
grip
ride (comfort)
etc...

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Macka

PS - if it helps, I am looking at getting them on custom rims...Privat Profil's 245-40-18 (Front) and 275-40-18 (Back)

Thanks again

yup...i have them.

road noise...good (better than average)
grip ...good (i don't have problems going around corners faster than stock...but i have wider tires )
tread life...good (better than average) MUCH better than stock
comfort...good

All in all...a great tire for the price

Thanks for the response and the info.

If you don't mind me asking, how long have you had them (or how many miles do you have on them?)

Thanks agian, I really appreciate the help!

about 2000 miles so far. a couple of months.

i do see slight signs of feathering...but you'll see that with any tire/wheel combination. (definitely not to the extent of those soft stock tires)

I have the tires for 6000 miles already. Honestly, everything about this tire is good except the grip. If you want somthing sticky, this definately is not the right tires, but if you want something long lasting, this is your tire.
