what is it...and is it needed?
I finally got my new wheels put on, and the guy at Discount said that he had to remove that "bolt" (I forget what he called it) on the rotor. Not the lug bolts (duh) but on the center cap of the rotor, there is a bolt with a hex head that is seated in the rotor. It's only on the front 2 rotors and it is in between two of the lug bolts.
What is that for and is it needed.
Sorry if this is a really dumb a$$ question, but I don't know much about this stuff.
Thanks for any help!

This is a joke right. Your playing with us right. This question gets asked time after time after time............. after time. That bolt is to stop morons from trying to mount the stock rear wheels on the front. It will not affect your car. Please use the search next time.
Dont feel bad. I didn't know anything about it for a while until i saw it in a thread right before I ordered my wheels. I would have probably tried to mount them with it still on there if not. I had never had a car with staggered setup from factory, but it is a very good idea.
