Question Whos running 10.5 with 275 TOYO T1S?

Do you have any pictures? Does it look streched? this will be my deciding factor. Appreciate those who put close up pics. Thanks in advance again!

I do.I have no pictures yet. The tire does not flush with rim so it sorda looks like a drift car set up, but in return you get less sidewall flex which means more body control..

Oh man that's pretty scary...I'd hate to run over a speed bump with that setup.

Will post pics if I find any.

I have it. I posted some pics in threads a while back. Suprisingly it doesn't look stretched to me. I was worried about it at first when ordering but they are fine. I do however think i am going to go with something bigger, mainly because i just want a wider tire, not that the 275 doesn't work fine. I can take some pics on Friday if you are still interested

If you are going to go with a 275 tire, stick with a 9.5" wheel. 275 is really on the bare minimum for a 10.5" wheel, and I don't care what other people have to say, it is EXTREMELY stretched. If you ask me, it looks plain silly, and the rim of your wheel will be very exposed.

I had seen the 275 on a 10.5 volk wheel a long time back and it did look really stretched but it doesn't look that stretched on mine. You are right though, it definately is the bare minimum. I actually would have gone with a larger tire to begin with but all this talk about rubbing had me worried so I went with what they recommended, 275 and figured i'd just go bigger once i saw how much room i had. I was just saying that the 275 will work with a 10.5 but obviously I would go larger if you have the room. It is hard to find some bigger tires though.

HUM... THE PLOT THICKENS

Actually, I have read many post's about your car and was waiting for you.. Those actually make me rethink my setup, as they dont look as bad as everyone makes them seem... Plus Toyo's are a lot cheaper than Michelin PS2 by a long shot. and Toyo's are very good tires. Do I really want to spend that extra $400.00 for added 285? and of course a better tire. Ahh Decesions, because today is the BIG DAY

I'm pretty happy with the Toyos and the 275's. I don't think they look that stretched in person and as far as rim damage, I haven't had any problems.

I don't know why I didn't see the thread sooner.. I guess I replied just in time to complicate things

I guess you were the deal breaker because Saving $500.00 sounds good to me, geez with $500.00 I can add more mods. Tires come and go. One last question is your car lowered?

Mine look the exact same as that. There are other tires in those sizes besides the PS2's. Like the Bf goodrich t/a kdw-2's. But 275's still fit, just like the picture shows.

yep.. i have eibachs.

On my other set of Volks I was running the Dunlop S9000's in a 285/30/19 rear. From TireRack the 285/30's were actually cheaper ($40 each I think) then the 275/35's. Just some food for thought if you are really leaning towards the 285's.

n/m ... file too big

regardless, I have 10.5" rear w/ toyo 275s

I think it looks OK ... I would prefer to have better protection for my wheels .. but since this is what came with the wheels and I didn't know any better at the time, I will run em till their bald.

Next setup will be 315/25/19s ... sucesfully done by MRJDMZ33 a few months ago. Should be just right.

For the $$ the Toyos cant be beat ... but the size is just ok for a 10.5 wheels, even though a LOT of people here run it like that.

I was thinking of trying the 315's too. It is shorter than a 275/35 so i'm pretty sure there will be no problems. What were you planning on running up front though jim?

hey armando it's pete, i went to spugen like you did to get the single hks exhaust (with the G35 supercharged), I am running a 10.5 and 9.5 setup w/ toyo t1's 275/245's. The rear looks good the front looks pretty stretched but I like the look. I am in orange county if you wanted to see it in person let me know

I had been searching around for a long time for tires to fit 9.5/10.5 Volks and pretty much settled on Toyo's (255/275) - but then I saw the BFG KDW2's in 255/285 and was sold - they are a wider tire than the Toyo's and the added width in the rear should look great... my next setup when these run out is going to be 275/30 and 295/30 PS2's...
