Default To go Nismo or not... thats my question

Hi,

Just got a PPW 350z and I want to upgrade the wheels and tires, and the suspension immediately.

Since I have less than 1000 miles on the car, I can't tell if I have the 'feathering' problem that other posts talk about in in this forum. One of the main reasons I'm considering Nismo is to keep the warranty on my car's suspension incase I end up with 'feathering' problem.

So, my question is are Nismo wheels and the Nismo suspension kit any good? I've read some posts on the suspension (mostly negative) and was wondering if anyone out there likes them.

Also, for those of you who dislike Nismo, what would you recommend?

Keep in mind that this car will never see the track.

Thanks!

I would suggest NISMO. Not that I am biased or anything...

I just got the wheels and suspension recently - the difference is NIGHT and DAY from stock. I cant really comment on other wheels or suspension setups, only to say some other suspensions are "adjustable" where the NISMO isn't. But not only does NISMO keep your warranty intact... it looks gooooooood...

Get the black nismo wheels. If you do the suspension and the wheels, get an alignment. Or if you only get either one, still get an alignment, that will help to prevent any tire feathering.

i'm very happy with my nismo wheels.
but if you want some more bling, you may want 19". i'm happy with 18" performance and quality of ride.

I don't think anyone would dispute the quality of the Nismo wheel. If you don't like the wheel, it's probably a style choice. It will be tough to match that quality for the same price.

Huh??? I have seen only positive things about the suspension. In fact, virtually everything Nismo makes is at or near the top of the list for mods in terms of performance and quality.

I also suggest the Nismos, they look great, arent that expensive, and are solid performers

I have my wheels for a year. I broguth my car to machine wash and hand wash many times. and changed tires couple of times but all 4 stickers are still there strong. i belive clearcoat is on top of sticker.

to me, nismo stickers seems a lot stronger than other volks stickers.

I did one wash on my wheels and one of the rear stickers came apart. I took the others off very easily in 15 minutes. They were very cheap. There was definitely no clearcoat on my bronze ones.

I want the Nismo suspension also. Probably my next upgrade. I'd definetaly go with Nismo Exhaust and CAI. Sound is the best IMO!!!

I have Nismo suspension.
If you are tring to track often, Nismo suspension might not be a good choice but if you are mainly use on the street performance, this is good one.
Good quality performance (especially with wheels) and not too harshy driving comfort.
And yes, Nismo exhaust doens't have ricy big exhaust tip. so it looks good and sounds awesome.

I love my nismo wheels, suspension, and exhaust!

Go with the Nismos. Performance Nissan Parts has LMGT4 18" wheel/tire packages for around 3K shipped.

You can find a much better price than that. I got mine with KDW's for $2650.00.

You sittin` down? About $3800 plus tyres That`s only about $300 more than Volk GT-C `s over here. That`s why a lot of us import from the US, you guys don`t realise how lucky you are
Not sure about pricing for the 18`s
