http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/tech/offset.htm

in a nutshell, +45 mm offset is too high... it'll cause your wheels to look sunk in and I gurantee you will not be happy with them

if you have to go 19x8 or 18x8, go with at least a +30 offset to maintain the "stock appearance"

np

if you have to go +45 offset, a 15mm or more (25-40mm for best appearance) will do the trick

just make sure the spacer comes with its own studs, and is both hub and wheel centric

there is a danger with running such large diameter spacers though... both to yourself (spacers are an "unnatural" extension to your car's hub and could potentially break) and to your car (wheel bearings will wear-out faster)

I have a o/t question, was it difficult to mount the g35c wing on your Z and how does it look from the back? Can you post some pics. Thanks.

It was not easy, but since the shop i had it done at let me participate in the install, i got it done to my specifications. i wanted it very low on the trunk. had to drill at least 4 new holes in trunk and cut out lateral underportions of wing to get it to bend, but i'm well pleased with the result.
pm me your email addy, and i'll send pix.
btw, apparently, others were able to install this wing with less difficulty, but i don't know the details; do a search or start a thread.
good luck.

Did you ever hear the saying...... Im too poor to buy junk. You could find yourself buying a new set of wheels in a few months when you bend them. The most expensive aspect of a wheel in the alloy. You can use **** alloy, and put crazy quality into the finish. It's still a poor quality wheel. Bend the wheels and you will be buying more.

I'm not saying that applies here... but you should still consider it.
