Question "REV" wheels?

in my search for some new wheels, ive come across this brand which is less expensive than other name-brand wheels. What kinda rep does this company's wheel have? Any problems?

stupid question: does "knock off" mean another company is making inferior products under a name similar to a major company, or could it be a subsidiary of the major company making the same product only without the name brand?

It's not higher named brand nor expensive, but the quality is pretty damn good for not being a well known brand. Down here in Miami I saw those in gunmetal, and the quality left me in awe. How much can you get these for anyways?

I just can't see spending $1 on wheels that won't look good on the car. They come in a max width of 8" which is junk. They would look like HELL on a Z. You couldn't stagger and the lip would be about 1.5 inches. If other members are putting 20x11s in the rear...its going to look very bad if you stick 18x8s back there. Not to mention the lack of good offsets...oh well just keep looking.

Wow, i appreciate your candor. Allow me to respond: stock width is 8", which is okay by me. I don't really care about stagger, especially since i have had feathering problems, and i haven't read that stagger does anything to minimize feathering, and gas mileage efficiency is a concern of mine. Larger, fatter tires weigh more and eat more gas. True, bigger lip is cool, but i'm on a budget, and 1.5" of lip is better than 0 lip, which is what i have now with the stock rims. I mod my z according to my preferences and what i think would be a good mod for my baby considering my driving patterns and my checkbook, NOT according to what others are doing. I get nods, thumbs up and compliments everyday with my "very bad" 18x8s right now.
I do have a concern about the offsets, though. What are "good offsets"? The offset on the wheels in question is 45mm. How does that compare to stock? Would that look different from my stock setup, and if so, how?

i would do a little more research if i was you. there's a reason they are $600. just save your money and wait till someone is selling their wheels on the board. personaly, i have my eyes on some axis milano's. not the most expensive wheels but they are nice. there was a few pairs of them on ebay for about $1500 with tires. 19x8.5's and 19x9.5

just something to consider. wheels are a big investment, especially for those of us on a budget. so take your time and get something with some quality

Yeah don't go el cheapo with your wheels. 18x8 STOCK is ALOT different than aftermarket 18x8. I would rather stick with stock 18's than get a cheap aftermarket wheel. Think about it.. a stock wheel is over 800 dollars a piece.. so essentially you are downgrading by puting a cheap aftermarket wheel on.

Check out the 17-19" specials on wheelmax.com.. there is an HP package that comes w/ tires for around 1500.. 19". That would be your best avenue for budget in my opinion.
