Default toyo t1s or michelin pilot sport 2

Any recommendations on choosing between the toyo t1s or pilot sport 2 from those who own either? Also best prices avail for each?

I have the Toyos and I like them very much. However, the hard core track guys dont seem to like the Toyos much. They say the side walls are mushy and take away from the performance. I think its a great street tire and it performs well in the rain. Tire choice depends alot on your application as well as the cars set-up. There......thats all I know and Im stickin' with it!

I should add, which tire would you choose for mostly street driving, not tracking.

For street use I'd get the T1S as they're lighter (faster acceleration).

Hold on buying the t1s, the newer one call t1r is coming out. It has better side tread.

I've been using Toyo T1-s for about 6 month now, and as other people said, it's quite a good tire for the money on the street. Especially if you have 19's your choices are very limited. However, Michelin PS2 is more superior than T1-s in almost every aspect except one, PRICE. They come close to $1400 for set of 4 in 19's. So the choice is yours.
Personally, I'm looking forward to new T1-R coming out too. Can't wait to see how it performs. (And I hope they have a correct size for 19's.)

I called toyo tires today and they said t1r probably will come out in the summer time. Debating whether to wait for the t1r. I have 18k miles and am getting close to changing the t1s especially with some feathering on the front.

Yes, getting feathering with the t1s.

Noticed tire roar around 10k miles, at my next service even techs noticed inner tire wear.

I've had the T1s on for about 18k miles and didn't know that the people who lowered my car lowered it incorrectly so I got the inner wear as well. So I will be purchasing tires soon as i just installed the APS TT. I'm thinking about going for the Michelin's they are superior to all other tires that are rated street tires on Tire Racks comparison.
