Default Pics of SILVER 19" TE-37s

A few quick photoshops I did...left one wheel bronze to let you see how different (cough-ugly-cough) they are. I really like em in silver, especially since I gave am a lightly polished lip.

Everytime I see a picture of those TE-37's .. I really like them. The silver photo-shop wheels look great.

How much do the TE-37 in 19" f/r rims weigh ? I am sure I have seen it.. but can't remember.

Ray Track rims..f/r... 17.9 lbs / 18.3 lbs

Nismo LM GT4...f/r..... 17.2 lbs / 18.1 lbs

are the te-37's available in silver. i thought they were only available in bronze and gunmetal? i dont particularly care for either of those, but in silver,YES! give me some info please. where can i get a set in silver? thanks

they are available in silver... $30 extra per rim. i ordered a set of silver 19" TEs...

i wish about the polished lip... cant do it on the TEs

I think they are about a pound over the 18s so like 19-19.5 lbs per rim...still pretty good.

Anyone else think that the offset is a little too extreme as they are pushed a tad too much out. (neg/pos offset?)

I think the offset is what makes them look so damn good. It makes the car look mean as hell. I just wish they ahd them in silver w/ polished lip and 19", but they only have the LE-37T's in 18" (Which are basically a TE-37 w/ a polished lip available in silver and gunmetal). And yes, the TE-37's come in silver, gunmetal, or bronze, and you CAN'T polish the lip on your own... I should be getting my set in 3 weeks, $3350 I believe w/ Bridgestone S-03's in 19".

You could take em to a shop to have the lip stripped, polished and clear coated...but that could be dificult and probably expensive.

Also, someoone told me that the SSR GT-3s on the Brebo 350z were 18's...I could swear that they look like 19s. What are they?

you got the 19x8.5 and 19x9.5? i guess you got the +22 offset on both?

Or you can do it yourself. Not that difficult actually. People polish motorcycle rims and frames by hand all the time. As long as it is aluminum, it can be done. I wouldn't do it on rims this expensive though as there is chance for error. After stripping and polishing you can have it clearcoated by a shop which shouldn't cost more than $30 bucks a wheel if you prepped it before hand(i.e. cleaned and masked, maybe even take tire off depending on shop).

Here is a pic of a friends bike I helped polish, we did the frame and back rim. We did all this the night before the show and didn't have time to do the front rim. All done by hand.

They're 22mm offsets for both front and rears! I order them in Silver as well!

What size tires are you planning on running??? And why 10.5's? Are you planning on putting down 600RWHP??hehe

Umm, they look like 19's to me, the 18's in SSR GT-3's look pretty small due to the big lip. Also, it's hard to get a shop to do that stuff, they don't like to strip wheels that are already painted from the factory, it's hard to just strip the lip and no shops are willing to guarantee their work will come out perfect.

my feelings are hurt... are you trying to short change me? i want supras to ph33r me!!!

actually i am probably only going to run 295/35 in the rear, although the pirelli 305/30 are pretty nice...

How soon before the 10.5in are on the car. Really curious to see how much clearance there is going to be.

I'll have a set on my car when I get it in late January. I'm going with the Gunmetal. I hate having to clean my wheels everyday. If anyone else needs any information on them, feel free to email me. I'm still running a special on them for fellow Z owners. Right now, I've got Volk, Tein, and AEM deals for everyone.

Actually if you want a professional look with a polished rim, you can go to a shop and do it. Shops down here in San Diego do it all the time, and most body shops have no problems doing it. What they do is strip the rim as neatly as they can, polish it, then mask off the polished part and, if needed, touch-up the painted part. Then they apply a clear coat. Or they will strip the entire rim, polish the lip, mask, and paint. The second usually only happens if you want a different color. My brother had the second option done on his rims and it came out as good as if it were made that way. Another option is powdercoating, which is basically the same procedure but instead of painting its powdercoated. I know a couple of powdercoaters that will do rims also. It's just a matter of looking around. I bet shops that say they won't do it are probably saying that because they have never done it before, or have very little experience.

Also stripping the lip is really easy if you use the right stripper. All you need to do is mask off the lip with pro masking tape, then apply stripper with a brush. You have to use aicraft aluminum stripper that comes in a thick "paste like" form. Let it sit, then just wipe off. Remove tape, and if you masked it properly, you'll have a completely stripped lip with a nice clean paint line. Ready for polish.

Just be careful using aircraft aluminum paint remover, its dangerous stuff.
