roll fenders
Ok, so I want to run 20's as well but I want a larger wheel. If I have to roll the fender that is fine, but I don't know what offset to order?
The wheel set that I am about to buy is 245/30/20 (9" wheel) and for the rear 275/30/20 (10" x 30mm offset). The problem is I really want to run an 11" wheel in the rear. Is this possible? and if so, what offset do I need to get?
Thanks in advance,

sdkone,
I believe Rayden on these boards (Lambo Orange Z) has 20" wheels with 11 in back? You might want to PM him about it.

Thanks for the info! Did you have to cut anything to run your 9.5's up front? or do they scrub under normal driving?
Thanks,
zephyr i was just going to ask the same damn question.
my plan is to run 9.5 front and back, then use 245 and 255
the offset for front would be +25, i just want to make sure it wont rub and that i could do a full u-turn and not worry about rubbing.

The only pics I have are in this post, https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....light=redlinez
better ones at the end.
Front offset +30 no problems lowered about an inch, no mods to fender.

I run 245/35/19 on a 9.5 SF challenge. The front is dropped about an inch and I've tried cornering very hard with the car. I don't feel or hear any rubbing. The turning radius feels the same as stock and if it IS any different, it's too marginal for me to notice.
The wheel sits perfectly flush to the front fender walls. The roads I take on my commute can be pretty crappy but the ride is not noticeably harsher than stock. It might be the soft Toyo Proxe T1-S series tires.
I'm planning on a 255 once these tires are worn. From an eyeball inspection of the A-arms/ shock pillars and front suspension assembly, I don't see any harm with going 255 up front, but I'd do some more research before pulling the trigger on that one. Haven't had any definite answers on a 255 setup.

As far as the front with those offsets, I've seen people run more aggressive offsets than 25, with a 245 tire and have no problems. It will seem a little stretched but I'm damn comfortable and confident with stretching a 245 on a 9.5 width.

I realized you were going to run 255's on back. That should be fine. I have a 23 offset in the back with a 275/35 tire (dropped a little over an inch) and it barely rubs. I rolled my fender in anticipation of a wider tire setup in the near future.

yeah exactly! thing is i get ridiculously good deals on konig wheels (yeah i know they arent all that) so i'm going to run the PRIVAT Profils since thats there higher end company, they dont have anything past 9.5 width so far so i'm stuck with the sizes i mentioned before. hopefully by winter i could order me some J-Line wheels or WORKs, anyway to get back on topic, i've had a lot of experiences with tire stretching and such since i was into drifting before the bug spreadout, believe it or not, my kouki S14 had the same wheels at the rear (9.5 et +25) and i had to roll fenders and stretch tires. at one point i had 235 on 9.5 and 215 on 8.5 a little too extreme for daily drivers but not for drifting. but FYI i bought the Z33 because the drift scene is too blown up and I want to try and build a Wangan style car. Top speed like the Top Secret Z33!

Surprisingly the stretch I have is not anywhere near extreme as a drifting setup. It's still protected from your average pothole (I hope!
) love the look, but will eventually go wider on the tires for a little more grip on already wideass setup. J-lines and Works are expensive but you could get almost any offset/width/diameter that you want.
I've always been a huge fan of the S13 through S15's and was planning to pick one up once the Z33 gets forced induced. The scene has blown up and you can't pick up a tuner magazine these days without seeing coverage on a 240. Oh well, anything that fun was bound to blow up.
Good luck with your Z and wheels.
