Just typical ..." they dont make those in 18" just 19" ...you are wrong...my distributor said only 19" are made" in reference to some rims I was looking at. The funny thing is the I told him the mfr website says other wise and he kept saying " look what you want me to do...you are wrong, so its 19' or nothing - they dont make them in 18".....Really bad when you basically calling your customer a liar and the proof is there on the website ...geese ooh " you dont know what you are talking about cuz my distributor is right " ...the nerve

Yeah, this happens alot when you have guys working at a car shop without much public relations skills or brains. It takes a real man to admit he is wrong, alot of people are just asses. I actually had an instance where I stated I wanted the same size wheel and tire combo front and back for more neutral steer (saw something like this on SCC mag) and the clerk called the idea stupid. Apparantly, if you're not running 285s in the back you're a moron... :/

ya, i've had lots of less-than-satisfactory interactions with wheel shops, like me asking them to quote me a price for a certain wheel, and they never call back. not good customer service, but then i remind myself that the level of education of (not all, but) many of the people who work in these shops is not very high. i scratch that shop off my list and move on to the next one until i find someone who meets my expectations.

at least you know where not to buy wheels from now nismochic. you should try goodroads up in ft. lauderdale. they even give a discount to sfzcc members.

Yeah local wheel shops always suck. I went to one just to humor myself. I told him the exact wheel and tire I wanted, and he couldn't even get me an exact price. He was like "You know those are expensive right?". Just buy online and save money.
