Hello everyone.
I was hoping some of our resident tire experts could offer me some advice.
I am getting some new wheels (the Racing Hart CPF Tunes) and have heard a lot of conflicting words on tires.
Here are my current choices:
Potenza SO3 255/35/19 and 285/35/19
BF Goodrich G-Force T/A KDW-2 255/35/19 and 285/35/19
Toyo Proxy 245/35/19 and 275/35/19
I live in PA and will never drive the car in the snow, but it does rain around here a fair amount.
What does everyone think?
As always, I appreciate your help and advice.

I had a similar decision to make a few weeks ago and decided to go with BF Goodrich G-Force T/A KDW-2 255/35/19 and 285/35/19. I won't see them until end of Feb so can't give you a first hand opinion.

The difference in front/rear diameter ratio is only .01 inch between the two sizes you've selected (3.09 for the 245/275 set and 3.10 for the 255/285 set), so you'll be ok with VDC using either size. If you don't anticipate rubbing, I'd go with the bigger 255/285 combo. The bigger the contact patch the better. On my car, I might run into fender rubbing issues with the larger size in the back because of my offset.
i have the toyo t1s tires on my 19's (245/35 & 275/35). i think they provide excellent traction in wet & dry conditions. ive only had the stock 18" potenzas & now the 19" t1s's on my z so i have nothing else to guage against really. ive used the dunlop sp8000 & the sp9000's in 18" on the zxtt as well as nittos on the stang. hard to guage between different vehicles but the toyos are the best tires ive used to date. i will get them again once its time to renew the tread! hope i helped........

I personally run the Falken GR Beta FK-451 in a 255/35/20 & 285/30/20. They actually made my ride much more quiet in the cab due to being a softer tire. The traction is great and the price isn't so bad. However checking the price the 19's are more expensive than my 20's for some reason. The following below is marketing statement about the tires... hope this helps and doesn't make your decision for difficult. Oh by the way... since I have so much negative camber on my back wheels I wear out tires in 10K.
Exotic looks, style and performance are keys to the new GRB FK-451. Deep lateral grooves and directional tread deliver great curb appeal as well as excellent wet traction. A new tread compound steps up to deliver the dry traction you want. Integrated sidewall ridge protects your rim investment. Available in ultra low profiles at surprisingly affordable prices.

I've ridden in this car and the Falkens do great on it.
I've used the Falken GR-Beta's as well, they ride very well in the rain and dry. Noise wise I'm not sure how I would rate them, I've only had one set of 19's. It's not too bad, no constant hum or anything. They are a bit pricey though. I'd doubt you would get more than say 12-14k miles out of a set (talking about the rears mainly, the front tread has held up well).
I ran 245/35/19 and 285/35/19. I believe that Falkens run on the smaller sizing of tires so if you get the 285's it equivalent to most 275's in other brands.

Back on topic here people. He has narrowed it down to three, so I don't think we need to talk about the Falkens which don't come in the size he wants anyways. If it was my choice, I would go with the g-Force KDW-2s.
I'm running Dunlop sp9000 on my Z
245/35/19 front and 275/35/19 rear..
These tires aren't that great for the money. Grip isn't as good as others.. wet or dry.. i'd say they're average. Only got about 2k miles on them though... can't say im not looking forward to beating the hell out of em so i have an excuse to get new ones... i'll be looking for your feedback on tires in the future
