Finally got my Volks, not mounted yet but check them out.

 

[Sorry bout the double post, took me a min to figure out how to post but the rims are 19X8.5 fronts and 19x10.5 rear with 245/35 and 275/35. Got the rims from Bryan at 350zonline and he was pretty good.

I still cannot figure out why people choose to run a narrow tire in the front... what are the advantages!? I only see disadvantages.

now that depends because if you talking about my Z then unfortunately not but if you talking bout my truck then hell yeah my name is correct. And to answer you questions about running a narrow tire in the front... Its to give it a stagger effect. I am not racing this car other than your occasional race on the highway so it not of any importance to have a wide tire on the front. Just for looks. Also the wider the tire the bigger the lip.

 

The offset is +21 fronts and +23 back. I was told by Bryan at 350zonline that 9.5 in the fronts may cause some tire rubbing and I didn't want to do any unnessary fender cutting. I decided to play it safe and go with the 8.5 front.
