ough that stincks but well said

More nitpicking his new wheels compared to the stock 18s will extend out by:

21mm in the front [0.80 inch]
29mm in the back [1.25 inch]

compared to me

11mm front [0.5]
11mm rear [0.5]

Hey Strife350z lets setup a small spring meeting, I'm guessing you might know more Z owners.

Mike-
Sorry to hear you had fitment problems, but it sounds like you have it mostly under control. My Axis Mod 7's(currently listed for sale) are 20X9 +37 & 20X10 +38 with 245/35 & 275/35. I don't rub at all. Seems weird that Axis offers two such different offsets for the same application.

Ok you guys are scaring me. I just got my SuperBlack last week and I'm about to throwdown $2500 for these exact same Milano rims and tires. 20x8.5 front and 20x9.5 rear wrapped by 245/35/ZR20 front and 275/30ZR20's. I've scoured these pages and have found nothing to indicate that there would be any rubbing issues with 350'z sporting 20 inchers that have not been dropped. Somebody please comfort me and tell me that you only have problems with 20's rubbing when you drop your car.

with this tire set up your front tires will be 0.2 inch bigger than the rears, i've seen people get away with this setup but idealy the rear should be 0.5-0.75 inch bigger than the front.
I recommend
255/30-20 & 275/30-20

With no drop, I don't think my tires would rub. The tires are tucked under with drop, greatly reducing any clearance. If you do not plan to drop I would go with the 245/35 and 275/35 setup. If you want to drop after that you will need to roll the fenders, which only took about 10 minutes per side for me to do.

Check out this link.
http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp

It's a tool that allows you to compare original tire-wheel diameters to new tire-wheel diameters. They recommend staying within 3% of the diameter of your original wheel tire combination.

With my original stock tire size 225/50R-17 front and 235/50R-17 rear I can go to 255/30R20 front and 285/30R20 rear and stay within the 3% from original diamter.

Can anyone provide any reasoning between going 35 series in the front and 30 series in the back for some 20" rim applications?

Hey Monkey, they look great! You're making it very difficult for me to decide on which wheels to go with. Thanks for posting!
