Default Need some Help Choosin my new rims Boyz!!

Aight guyz. Im takin the plunge here on some new rims in about 1 to 2 months. Now the initial decision was What rims should I get? Well, I decided without a doubt that I would be goin with Volks, just from a quality and aesthetics standpoint. Now, the question is what model Volks should I go on?

I will have the Ings Half Kit on my car, my car is also a Chrome Silver. Heres a pic of the kit and what not.

Now the rims I always see on the Ings kit is the SF Winnings. But Im not too into mesh style rims.

These are the rims im lookin to put on, all DIAMOND BLACK finish but having a tuff decision choosin between. Im not gonna just go and get what everyone says, but maybe itll give me a lil direction, im a student, and i dont have the funds to be wanting a new set of rims after i buy this first set LOL.

Volk GT-7s
Volk SF-Challenges

Thanx all.

I would go the SF Challanges but I may be partial because I have them on order. If you want them in 1 to 2 months you better order now unless a vendor has them in stock. I ordered my rims on 1/4/05 and just found out it is going to be another four weeks before they come in. I was originally told it would only take 60 days and than when I called in the beginning of March was told 2 weeks but after 2 weeks I was told four more weeks . I'm at a point now where due to the delays and bad customer service by my vendor I just want to cancel my order and go with a different wheel. But I am sure once I get them I will be real happy I stuck it out.

Ok, makes sense. I didnt know thats how that worked. How is it that Mackin is the only co in the entire USA that recieved Volks? I am just curious if any one know how all this import stuff works. Im not beeing a smart azz, im ginuinely wanting to know how all this works with Volks and other rims from Japan. BEN

i would go gunmetal. on chrome silver, the black wheels tend to stick out a little too much. gunmetal is more of a smooth dark look, versus being super bold with black rims. black rims look good on silverstone. since cs is lighter than ss, the lighter gunmetal looks better than black. black wheels look good on db, ss, and best on super black

Get the Gt-7's, because yours truly is going to be on the Winnings. LOL seriously though, I think the GT-7's look great on lighter colored cars.

Do you have Brembos ?

I went with diamond black GT-7's on my CS and they look great. I'll post some pics after I drop it.

Black wheels seem to be a real personal thing. Some people love 'em some just don't. I happen to love the look and they contrast the CS very well IMO.

Good luck with your decision.
