Default will a 295/35/18 fit on a 10.5" 45mm offset wheel for the rear?

I'm trying to find out if it'll fit ok or if I'll need 10-15mm spacers/hub adapters

btw, does anyone know the offsets for the rear 8.5" track rims?

oem track wheels are +30 front and +33 rear

10.5 +45 should be tucked in, but a 10 or even 15 mm spacer will bring it out nicely. but you should get longer hub bolts just in case.

just want to double check, but with +43 offset

will a 10.5 wheel with +43mm offset with 295/35/18 physically fit and run ok in the rear?

I figure the wheel/tire will still stick out a good 12mm further than stock

I am running a 295/35/18 Kuhmo MX tire on an SSR compH 10.5R +43offset. The wheels SLIGHTLY rub the plastic shell around the rear absorbers. Nothing to be concerned with, but with a +45 offset, you would be pushing the wheels 2mm farther in. I would recommend a 5-10 mm spacer if you went with a +45 offset. Don't let these guys fool you, the wheels don't look tucked.

yeah i bought the SSR GT-2's with 43mm offset

when they do run that plastic part, is it only when you're taking a corner fast? how often do they run on street driving?

Can the car be lowered at all in the rear?

will adjusting the camber have an effect on reducing the rubbing at all?

The rubbing is SO minimal it really isn't worth mentioning, but I wanted to tell you that it is present. Yes, a SEVERE negative camber setup may lead to increased rubbing....like -2.5 degrees.

Yes the car can be lowered. I am running hotchkis springs on my car.

Do you have the wheels yet? Also, what tire are you going to run?

Yeah I have the wheels already

I'm going to be running Michelin PS2's - have them on order anyway

I'm planning on replacing my suspension and lowering the car like an inch or so
I'm also buying some A-arms and traction rods so I'll try to keep the camber within normal spec

I might consider getting different hub mounts if I can find some to push the wheel out a little more. I was told by a couple people the +43 offset would work fine with the 295's so it's good to hear from someone with the same setup.

is your rubbing happening all the time or just sometimes?

If you are going to lower your car you will need a spacer. I have the SSR GT3 and I am running a 15mm spacer in the rear to keep from rubbing on the inside against the shock.

You will be fine all around. You won't need a spacer at all. I couldn't tell you if the rubbing occurs under hard cornering or regular driving. If you look at the suspension and the plastic covers that 'protect' the rear absorbers, they have movement side to side. It is more of them moving into the wheel causing the rubbing than the offset being wrong. "Skrill" tracks his car with the EXACT setup I am running without issue. You will be completely fine, don't even worry about it again.

What springs/coilovers are you looking into? I am, for a lack of a better term, a 'fanboy' of the hotchkis springs.

How low you going to go? That may impact if they rub or not.
