Question on volk SF challenges...
I'm looking to buy new wheels and have my mind made up on volk SF challenges. I know its a popular wheel but i don't care i really like it. Sooo would someone be kind enough to give me some advice on what size/offset will fit?
I'm looking to buy 19's, i know that. I will be lowering the car on coilovers so i don't want to have a problem with rubbing. Finally, i will be installing a big brake kit only on the front wheels. I'm thinking 19x9 on the front should clear the BBK and 19x10 on the rears will give me a nice lip. What offsets should i go with? Also anyone have any suggestions on where to purchase them? Experiences good or bad? Thankksss

Yea i think your right, sorry i don't think i worded my question very well. What i'm asking is what size wheel should i buy? I def want 19's, i def. want a big rear lip, and i also don't want the tires to rub when i drop it on coilovers. I'm just a little confused on what width i should get/offset and tire size. Oh also i need the front wheel to clear stoptechs...thanks

Why get a 10.5 inch rim for a 9 inch tire? (275) I guess people like to see tires angle in off the rim in a V-shape, so people ask "why don't you get tires big enough to fit your rim? Not me, 8.5 front with 255, 9.5 rear with 285 on 19 inch rims, 30 or 35 profile not 100% sure on that combo yet, but I don't have rims yet either so no hurry.

That is correct, if you want to run 9.5 in the front and 10.5 in the rear then go with a +28 front and +23 in the rear. On the other hand, since you want a big brake kit in the future, run a +15 in the front with a +23 in the rear on 9.5 and 10.5. Here are some shots of my SF Challenges I just got in from Bryan from 350zonline....

But I went with a 245/35 and 275/35...
and rolled my fenders.
Dropped on Eibachs, It doesn't look like it would rub at all but I got them rolled to replace the tires with 285's or 295's in the near future.
And for the "v-shaped/ stretched beyond falling of the wheel" comment: It's not that bad.
From my observations...
The lip on a typical 9.5 rear is not as big as a 10.5 with the above offset. Usually, it depends on offsets for the rear-lip but in the case of your typical setup for SF-Challenges. A 10.5 rear in a 23 offset will appear to be deeper than a 9.5 rear in whatever average offsets normally posted on these boards.

Wow atftrading your car looks sick thanks for the pic, also fairladyzz i really like the gold on ppw, good choice. Ok so a +23 front would not fit a bbk? Any negatives about getting +15 over +23?

hey yea when i bought my sf they gave me a choice of +23 or +28 they said if iam planing too put bbk later the 23 wont fit it but the 28 offset will and for getting over +23 such as up too +22 i think it looks perfect but i wont go over that unless you are going like wide body or something its going too stick out too much if it is pass +22

I don't know guys...
I have a 28 offset up front and the wheel sits pretty damn flush to the fender while looking like you could fit the world behind those spokes!
Anyone have any confirmation on the 9.5's BBK front compatability in these offsets?
btw: I don't know if this explains anything but I went out to measure my front wheel. Looks like the most shallow part of the spoke sits almost 2' inches away from the stock caliper. Does a typical BBk portrude out THAT much farther???

Ok..let me get this straight before i order rims. If i want to get a BBK later, i should get 19x9.5 +28 in the front? And the 19x10.5 +23 will not rub unless i use 285/35/19 tires? What if i use 275/35/19 tires in the rear and lower the car 1in or 1.5in? Will i need to roll my fenders to avoid rubbing? I really want to avoid having to roll my fenders later.
I also have a question about le37s. If i get 19x9.5 in the front and 19x10.5 in the rear with +22 offset all around...will i have any rubbing issues? I plan to lower my car about 1inch to 1.5in.
