Just got them on. Looks great even without a drop, though a suspension is on the way.

Amazing, they look really good on your car. The 10.5" rear is a must IMO.

offsets are +21 front and +24 rear - it says it on the stickers. and the tires look pretty stretched. id get 245/35 front and 275/35 rear.

He has 245/275s and as you can tell from the stickers the 9.5 and 10.5 is the reason they are so stretched. I knew as soon as I saw the first pic exactly what size tires and width he picked. I just don't understand how people can like the "rubber band" look of a 245 stretched on a 9.5 and a 275 stretched on a 10.5.

 

Yeah King we know how you feel! You post that on every freaking wheel thread. Not trying to start anything. Your opinion is useful to anyone considering new wheels/tires.

But get this, its called compromise. They want the bigger wheel.
A lot of people go witht he 10.5 rears but 285's don't fit without rolling the fenders so they (we) live with some stretch. Its really not that bad. I don't know why it bothers you so much.

 

The tires don't cause the rubbing. The wheel width and offset do. My point is don't get a 10.5 if you don't plan on running some 295+ rubber out back. It is just added weight and decreased contact patch, although I am sure most do it for the extra .5" of lip. I'm just trying to help people make better decisions rather than just jumping on the 245/9.5 and 275/10.5 bandwagon.

 

I understand that but the tire make and size effect rim clearance too. Of course the offsets make a huge difference too. But we all have different opinions of what looks good and what we want.

I just went through this same thing so I understand the issue and its a PIA. But this guy just got his wheels and they look great. Let him enjoy them.

There is a lot of misinformation and misleading on the boards about what size wheels/offsets/tires to get. Much of it has to do with the fact that we all have differing opinions on what looks good and what we want. Its hard to know all this stuff before you buy the setup.

 

I went for the stretched look on purpose. I also got those offsets to (hopefully) make sure I'll be able to fit the Stoptech 14" kit behind them. I don't like the chunky tire look as much as stretched:

 

Loooks like you might have some camber issues there. Id look into gettin that fixed.

 

Suspension is stock, camber is from the factory.

 

I figured you did. Like I stated, I just don't understand why people like it. Maybe you could expand on it for me.
