Enkei RP03's and VDC/TPMS concerns
Hi all.
The RP03's are fantastic; exactly what I was recently looking
at (OK, also the Axis Reverb). Anyway, my '03 Touring has
VDC and the TPMS. Nismo says that in order to change to Nismo
wheels the shocks, springs, and sway bars need to be changed
also.
How will the RP03's impact the VDC system without
adding any other items (springs, shocks, sway bars)?
Also, I'm keen on the Michelin tires with the RP03 package
from Performance Nissan. What would shipping fees be to
send everything to the Atlanta area?
What about putting in tire pressure monitors in each wheel?
I've heard anywhere from $250 to $290 per sensor.
What's the added cost? I guess I'd need for my local dealer
to sync the monitors to the TPM system, right?
Thanks for any feedback on these concerns.
PS: what's the weight of the stock Touring wheels?

they'll just take the sensors from your stock wheels and put them in the new ones. My Nissan dealer charged me $17 a wheel to take out the sensors from my stockers, put them in the new wheels, and mount and balance them.

What brand are your new wheels? Were they aftermarket or Nismo?
