Default Running 20x10.5 +22 up front

Did some searching but couldn't really find a set list of things needed to run 20x10.5 +22 up front.

What size spacers?
I'm on stock suspension for the moment will that work for the time being?
What else will I need?

Thanks so much!

Default Need help. 20x10.5 +22

I am about to start running 20x10.5 +22 all around.

This will be with the FIVE:AD S5:F wheels.

What exactly will I need for proper fitment.. When I say that I don't mean all the aftermarket pieces to go hellaflush. (for now)

However what pieces do I need to get on the road with these things!

Spacers, and etc....

Thanks in advance...

John

Personally,20's don't belong on a Z.The car is too small for that size wheel.
Huge width also for a front wheel.Clearance problems?
O.K. for a show car,not a everyday street driver.

Just my opinion.

Default Running 20x8.5 +32 & 20x10.5 +30? Tire recommendation?

Hey everyone, I'm looking at picking up some xxr 521's, 20x8.5 +32 for the fronts, 20x10.5 + 30's for the rear. I'm wondering if I will need to roll my fenders? What tire size should I run to keep rubbing to a minimum? Currently on Stance GR+ coils btw.

Put a 255 mm tire on the 10.5 inch wheel. That will look real cool.

Im running the same setup with 245/35 on the front and 285/30 on the rear. The rears never rub but the fronts do occasionally.

Im running 255/30/20 on a 20x9.5 +25 up front and 285/30/20 on a 20x10.5 +22 out back and Im lowered on hotchkis and I have no issues of rubbing in the front. I had to get the rear fenders rolled and now have no issues in the rear either.

Back again with another set of 20's. Some say 20s is too big for a z but how I see it is if you xan pull it off its cool. Just saying! VIP modular vr08,20x10/12 -0

I am being told by a local shop that going about 3% of normal/stock parameters could cause brake failure to a certain point. That being said, would mean that going from 255/30/20 front and from 285/30/20 rear would cause this? Then it means getting bigger brakes a nessecity? That can also be a rule for whichever diameter i suppose. Could somebody explain to me please? I've done my searching and on tire calculators but no definite answer there. If i missed it, my apologies. Thanks.

there is no such thing as "BRAKE FAILURE" when it comes to wheels and tire sizes. the only thing is your pads will ware out a lot faster cause it has to stop more weight. if thats what he meant then its true. i've been through all kinds off wheels ranging from 18's to 20's. and all tires sizes and i havent had any issues with brakes. the only way it'll ware out is it you drive fast and brake suddenly often. ive ran 305/30 on both 20's and 19's with no issues. 255&285 are just the width of the tires. and youre running a low profile too so its not much weight. you should check out the "AGGRESSIVE WHEELS & FAT TIRES" thread theres a lot of people running beefy tires there. hope that helps!

Tires are SOOO much cheaper and more available for 20's than 19's.
