You know it's going to be a good thread when they use the term rims

If you're being serious.. Offset means nothing unless you know the width of the wheel (Or rim in this case)

What are you talking about in just looking for a picture of a car with rims that have 15 offset

The offset moves the wheel toward, or away, from the fender.

The width of the wheel ALSO moves the edges of the wheel and, from what you can see in the average picture, does the same thing as offset.

So a skinny 20 inch wheel with a 15 offset could look "sunk" where a wider wheel with a less agressive offset could look closer to "flush".

Where the outer edge of a wheel sits in relation to the fender depends on offset AND width. (And to some degree, diameter)

So a wide 30 offset wheel can look just like a skinny 15 offset with respect to how it "fills the fender."

Ok so how bout 20x9 front and 20x10 rear is the size of rims I'm getting apparently I should go 15 offset front and 25 offset rear with 10 mm rear spacers would that be flush?

What Z1 said.. I didn't want to explain how to determine offset lol
But basically offset is the distance in MM that the hub sits from the center of the wheel.

With a 10" wheel offsets around +20 to +25 will look good but if you have a 7" wide wheel then you'd need an offset around -15 to have it look "fender flush"

So when you say "what are you talking about".. That's what I'm talking about. Width and offset work in correlation with each other. People not understanding this is why you see car with poke (wheels sticking way out of the fender) or cars with sunk in wheels.

Thanks, tires are 245/35 and 275/30's. With the brand tires I chose I probably should have gone 285's in the rear because the rear tire is stretched more than the front but I'm really the only one who notices. I believe the offsets are +15 F and +20 rear and the front is now 5mm lower than the pic shows which is now perfect. This wasn't a package deal I bought, I got everything separate because I get good prices on tires, the wheels I bought retail and I installed everything myself (don't really trust anyone else).

Btw, the fender to bumper mount area will cut your tire up do to the extra height.

I saw a 370z online with rohana rf2 gloss red. Fitment: 20×11 et25 front and 20×12 et25 rear.
Seems too wide to fit under a 350z but I like how concave the fronts are. Anyone running theses or similar offsets and sizes?
I tried to contact rohana but haven't heard back. I thought perhaps I could run 20×10 et25 fronts and 20×11 et25 rear.
Of course I'd roll the fenders but I don't want to camber the heck out of the car.
Thoughts, opinions, pics???

Looking at some 2013 GTR wheels with almost new tires on them. I've done a lot of research on this and found some people running GTR wheels but can't find what tire sizes people are running on them. I think the rear will be fine, but I'm worried about the 285 tire on the front. Any input you guys can give would be appreciated. I have a 2008 base, stock suspension. Details of potential setup below...

FRONT
Wheel - 20x9.5+45
Tire - 285/35/20
Comparison to stock: http://www.willtheyfit.com/index.php...9-5&offset2=45

REAR:
Wheel - 20x9.5+45
Tire - 295/35/20
Comparison to stock: http://www.willtheyfit.com/index.php...9-5&offset2=45

If trying to make this work is ridiculous, please say so lol. If I have to change the tires, it is no longer worth buying these wheels...

Best sizes on those wheels... Green = Best, Magenta = OK

225 45% 18 25.97 Stock Reference Size
245 45% 18 26.68 Stock Reference Size

235 30% 20 25.55
245 30% 20 25.79 Alt FRONT
255 30% 20 26.02 FRONT
265 30% 20 26.26
275 30% 20 26.50 Alt REAR
285 30% 20 26.73
295 30% 20 26.97

Wheel fit requires 20 or 25mm wheel spacers for optimum fit and may require rear fender roll if you run 285s.
