Default 8.5/9.5 on stock 225/245?

I recently purchased a set of BFG KDW2 (200 miles ago). I've decided I want new rims, the rims are new too but I'm just not feeling them - expecially now that the 57S Pro is out (the look I was going for). I've looked on the KDW spec sheet and this is the upper limit of each tire. Anyone know what that will look like? Too stretched?

Or should I just cut my losses, sell the 225/245 tires and buy 245/275?

I currently have the stock 225/245 on my 8.5/9.5 rims. I wouldn't say it looks like "what he said ", but they are noticeably stretched leaving an increased gap between the wheels and the fenders.

They also made the ride much harsher. I was surprised at this, but I guess it is the same as going to lower profile tires.

Since I autocross my car, I figured I would wait until the tires are gone to go with larger ones. As a matter of fact, the rear ones are almost gone and I am going to switch the front wheels to the rear for my first drifting event tomorrow. That should take care of them!
