Hi guys:

I have a daytona blue Z and want to get some new rims soon. I'm debating between the above wheels. I'm going to roll my fenders so width isnt too much of an issue, I'm dropped about 1.2", and may be slammed in a few months.

My question is which wheel will yield the widest widths/lips in the rear? I'm heavily considering the SF Winnings in 10.5 rear with the +17 offset and 9.5 front +19 offset. This is about as agressive as I would like to go.

If anyone has information, please let me know. Also, what do you guys think will look hotter on my Z? Gunmetal or mercury silver? Any pics will be great.

I would say Mercury Silver. It looks clean.

 

go with the Works cuz too many people have Volks nowadays.....either Works should look good since they're both a web design.....

 

Cool--should I go gunmetal or the hyperblackish silver they have? I think the Termists are cleaner than the VS-XX but as I understand the VS-XX may have wider lips?

 

Go with the WORKS TM1, I went with those cause everybody has VOLKS, The lip is wider in the back. Check out some of my posts, Iwent with Black Chrome. I'm getting the Hotchkis Tvs installed today but will post pics later.

what's going on Ravi. SF winnings are bad @$$. but i would personally go with the VS-XX in the gold color very nice set. Daniel733 had a set on a silver z. maybe you can get someone to photo chop your color on his car. or another choice out there would be the piaa rozza. not a mesh rim but more of a fin type rims but the lip is outrageous. man i swear it has a 4+ inch lip but it looks more like 6". can't wait to see the car with new shoes

Ings half or full? Welcome to the family. Since I'm getting the rest of the ings half kit I dont know what rims to get. The winnings might be kinda played. I'm deciding between the PIAA Super Rozzas in hyperblack now--its a rarer wheel and man I love the huge lip. thanks for reminding me about them Virg. Also the Volks are too pricey now, at $3120 I was ok, but at like $3400-3500 no way.

EDIT: I'm not ballsy enough to do the gold on my daytona blue ahha..Gunmetal/hyperblack for me

I'm getting the Ings N-spec kit with a Ings low mount GT wing. BoostTed is running the Rozza's hyper black with the initial D and that looks great. i think it would be one sick z with the half kit. you can't beat the lip on the PIAA. my other buddy not on the forum just ordered a set of volk gt-v in mercury silver. i think he plans on getting the half kit as well. maybe when you car is done and mine we can do an ings photo shoot. LOL

 

That would be sick. I'm going to try to imagine how the ings half kit will look with the PIAA's. For sure if you are ever in Northern Cali, come by, you've got a place to stay LOL. A photoshoot would be nice man!

Thanks rick, leaning towards the PIAA's right now for that massive lip Plus they come in hyperblack which I hope will look sick with my Ings kit *when I get it*
