very sorry. My wheels specs are 9.5/10.5 +12 Front tires are 225/40/19. Would 275/35/19 look weird? The fronts are a bit stretched. I am planning on dropping my ride about 1.5 inches, nothing too crazy but tucking tire. Thanks

hey all.. old post but was wondering if this would work and i have a few questions.
i will be getting 19x9.5 and 19x10.5 with +22 offset soon but i am having a hard time finding good tire size. I am not lowered and do not have my fenders rolled, i want to know what is the biggest i can do without rolling my fenders, and without messing with the speedo.
I wanted to go 245/40/19 and 275/40/19 but someone told me it would not work. i wanted the 40 depth but he said it would need to be 35 and im not sure why. so in that case will 235/40/19 with 265/40/19 work or will it have to be 235/35/19 (or would 245/35/19 look better in front) and 265/35/19 in the rear?

as far as the offsets go i am trying to get a flush look, not sticking out to much and not sucked in, will these offsets achieve this look?and i dont want my tires to look to small for my rims either maybe have to do 9.5 all around?

thanks for all the help in advance!

hi. that thread did help a bit. if i get 9.5 all around will the 275 look stupid in the back, like to fat for the rim?

i think i will go with 245/35/19 f and 275/35/19 r most likely 9.5 all around. hopefully i wont have to roll my fenders.

Default Offset question.

I'm about to pick up a set of bronze burst F14 Forgestars. I'm not sure if the offset's are too weak for the Z. They're coming off a G37 and I heard their offsets aren't aggressive for our cars. The specs are 19x10 +38 in the fronts by 19x11 +44 in the rears and I'd be getting 15mm spacers up front and 25mm spacers in the rear. I'm not looking for a crazy aggressive setup but a nice concave in the rear would be nice. Any help would be much appreciated as I don't have a ton of knowledge in the wheel department. I think these offsets might be too weak for our cars but getting new F14's is at least a 6 to 8 week wait time and shipping to Canada is crazy expensive.

That is what the spacers are supposed to correct. You end up with +18 and + 19 which is ok as long as you do not rub

the wheels come with some wide tires (275 front and 305) rear which most likely will not fit. I'll likely end up getting new 255/275 tires eventually.

Info on whether or not you are dropped would help members decide on the best route

Not right now still on stock suspension with stock non-brembo's. I was planning on getting the eibach pro kit lowering springs. I could get my fenders rolled too if need be.

That offset is beyond weak and not worth your time, keep looking

Thanks! I wasn't sure but it sounds like I shouldn't pick these up. Glad I checked here first.

You're welcome!

Try to stay away from wheels that were on G Sedans, they are normally pretty weak offsets

Yeah definitely will do. Just wish it was less of a hassle to get new ones. 6 to 8 weeks build time and then shipping time on top of that is a long wait. Looks like more trolling of the marketplace for me lol!

Default Will 19" 245/40/19 275/40/19 fit?

i see everyone using 35 profile tires on 19s but where i live the streets are horrible and i was advised to get 40's for the potholes so i dont dent my rims im just wondering if they will fit? i have k-sport adjustable coilover with camber kit just wanna make sure these will fit on my 03 350z

Go with 18's, then you can run 40 series sidewall.

get 19s with 35, drive carefully and avoid potholes. find easiest daily routes, might even be the long way but save you the agony.
