I run 20x10.5 with an effective offset of 22 mm if that helped. 19x10 ET35 may need a spacer to clear the upright.

You will have 1.2" less inner clearance. You can easily measure with that information

Ive run 19x9.5 +35 before. Pretty sure your fine, but id double check on the wheel design for brake caliper clearance.

I have 19 x 10 +15 with a 245/35 tire up front with no issue. 19 x 11 +15 with a 275/35 tire in the rear, also no issue.

Will they fit my Base 350Z without hitting suspension parts?

To make my search easier can someone tell me what is the max backspacing I can have front and rear?

Thanks in advance.
Measured last night. Stock 18x8 30mm is 1 1/16" away from hitting anything(this is the rim, if your tire sticks out further than the rim you will have even less clearance. This is for the front rims. Rear will fit) So, it wont fit without a spacer

Thank You very much for this. So are my calculations correct then:

An 18x8 rim at 30mm offset gives you 5.7" of backspace (from tire calculator).
Add the 1 1/16" to give me a max backspacing 6.7625"?
If I keep my rims under that backspacing and my tires smaller than or even with my rim I should be OK?

Thanks

Absolutely agree(d) ... added some H&R Trak 15mm spacers today.
Had to use a cutting tool to widen the gaps on the back of the rims though, so the bolts from the spacer would fit!
Turned out great. Drives excellent and does look better IMO.

Would you be able to help me out. I can't find this in the thread. I have 19x9.5 F and 19x10.5 R wheels with +35 offsets. I've previously had 255/35R19 on the front and 285/35R19 on the rear. I have tein springs so it a 1.2 drop in the front and .9 in the rear I think. From what I understand a 265/35 would be ideal for the front is that right? Would it Rub? 295/35 would be ideal for the back but those are too damn expensive. So should I stick with 285/35 or go 305/30? Thanks everyone!!!

Default Rim and tire specs for stock Z

Hello everyone I have been lurking on the forum for a while so not really new. I am looking to purchase some wheels, Forgestar f14s and wanted to know what do u guys think will fit best on a stock ride height Z. I was planning of getting 19x9.5 front and 19x11 rears with 245/35/19 and 285/35/19. Wanted to know if this will fit without mods and what offset would u guys recommend.

Would need to know the full specs of the wheel to give you an answer.

Need to know offset and width especially.

Also is the car lowered or stock height?

I also have stock non brembo brakes on a 04 Roadster.
If I have done my home work the tight flush fit is.

Front 19x9 +20 or 22 any combo so maybe a 30 wheel and a 10 Spacer=20
Or a wheel at +20 no spacer
Rear 19x10 +15 So a Wheel thats 30 with a 15 spacer =15
Or a wheel that is 15 no Spacer

Or simplified a set of 19x9 at 22 front and 19x9.5 at 22 rear no spacers but still looks better then stock
Did I mess anything up?

Are you asking if your specs are correct or are you explaining? Get wheels that don't require spacers. Look back through this thread, 9 and 9.5 22 is pretty conservative and looks somewhat tucked in still but you can run wider tires. 9.5/10.5 +22 is spot on imo.

Default tire shop wants to sell me diffrent hight tires

this tire shop im getting tires from said that I should go with 40 size in front and a 35 size in back

so front would be 245/40/19
back 285/35/19

dose this sound right , should they both be like 35 front and back?

On a lot of staggered set-ups that would be an acceptable choice because the height of both tires are almost identical. However, if your Z has VDC then you want a shorter front tire to keep the traction control at bay. I suggest 265/35/19 for a front tire. You can choose to go with the 245/40 if you want but you may find your "SLIP" light illuminating under hard acceleration...which you can disable if you press the VDC button.

I have the base model z so I don't have the VDC/Button , that being said , should I still go with 265's in front?
