Please let me know.
to be honest.... it will look like crap and all sunken in.

Don't be cheap. Either do it right, or don't do it at all.

There are more than a threads here on wheel sizing, a thread specifically about which wheels/tires are appropriate, and the Top 100 FAQ. Ever think of searching before asking the most basic question about a car which has been around for ~12 years?

Default Buying some infiniti g35 wheels 19in

Im buying some g35 wheels, you know the 19 inch "forged rays" tomorrow. They are 19x8 and 19x8.5 i believe.

Anyways, i was wondering from all the tire ***** out there what i could run on it, and has anyone done it. Ive seen the pictures of them. Now i wanna get the words of wisdom from the people and what size tires they have ran.

They are going on my 2004 350z btw,

so what sizes do you all think

Have you looked through the 19" thread. Seriously endless amount of info. Even sites like Tirerack and DTD has recommended tire sizes for 19s on a 350z. Comes down to personal preference.

225/40-19 and 245/40-19 would be the proper sizes, and what a coincidence, it's the sizes on the G35 with OEM 19's.

Default Help

So I was thinking of doing 19x10 +22 all around and was wondering if it would be bad in the front. I know it will fit in the rear and I would put a 245/35/19 in the rear with a spacer probably. And then a 235/35/19 in the front. Would that work in the front with minimal rubbing. Also I don't mind the mild tire stretch I like that.
Thanks for any info, Kaleb

You can easily go 275 35r 19 back & 245 up front easily. The rear fenders roll easily without distorting. You probably could go 295. Depends on if you're lowered. I would go 275 back 245 front. No problem.

That wouldn't even come close to rubbing in the front or rear with factory alignment specs and at stock height. I've fit a 255/35/19 with a +15 offset up front with no rubbing.

I'm going to lower it 1.25" and then eventually slam it. I don't want fat tires or anything and thanks for the info. I'm going to get camber arms for the lower and I will be on coilovers not springs. I think I'm gonna pull the trigger on the wheels. They are Vossen CVT's. So with the camber arms and slightly stretched tires, this set up should be OK, right?

Your previous posts would prove otherwise.

Slamming a 350z is never ok. But "ok" in the sense of rubbing? Theoretically you can add negative camber until nothing rubs while the suspension is at equilibrium. However, with the shortened suspension travel due to being sammed, there's no guarantee you won't be hitting all kinds of crap when the suspension compresses. The slammed crowd doesnt prioritize not rubbing. Just something to chew on.

By slam I dont mean crazy camber and everything like that I just mean really low. Maybe I should have just said, significantly lower it. Anyway I know once I really lower it, it will rub all the time. I have decided to get 19x10 +20 all around with 235/35/19 Front and 255/35/19 Rear. Then lower it 1.25" for now. Would that be ok without rubbing a lot or anything. Eventually I will get spacers for front and rear if I want it more flush.
Thanks, Kaleb

you shouldn't rub, but you will drag on a lot, your tires are going to be stretched. i am running a 275/40 and 255/40 on 9.5 on all corners
