18" Wheel & Tire Discussion Thread

275/45/18/ would be 27.74" tall. and a 245/4518 is 26.68.
so yes it would work but not many tires come in that size. its also best to run the same tire front and back. (i didnt for a while and i didnt like it) it would be 'best' to get 4 new and sell the old but tires ARE pricey. i recommend bfg kdw2's as a tire but i dont think they come in that size nor do the v12's that i know of.

it will probably rub. that is a big tire. it like running a 275 on a 20" wheel. may not look very good and will raise the car, giving it the monster truck Z look on stock suspension. i run a ~25.3" tire up front and a ~26" in rear. so running 1.75" taller is not that desirable.
a 285/40/18 will work. its .3" taller than a 245/45/18 and might be your best option for a wide tire.

Or what about if I do 245/35/18 and 275/35/18

Here are some of the more popular wheel and tire sizes (for good reason) that people put on their Z's. There is no "RIGHT" answer but there is a limit to how big or small you can go.
18" combination:
Front 18" x 8.5" , Offset +15 to +25, Tires 245/40/18
Rear 18" x 9.5" , Offset +15 to +25, Tires 275/40/18
(lower offset such as +10 in rear is possible but may require rolling)
Front 18" x 9.5" , Offset +25 to +30, Tires 255/40/18
Rear 18" x 10.5" , Offset +28 to +35, Tires 285/40/18 or 295/35/18
(lower offset such as +23 in the rear is possible but may require rolling)

NO you do not need a 275 exactly for a 10.5" wheel. im doing a 295 on a 10" wheel. and ive done 265 on a 8" wheel. hell i have 35"x 12.5"(317mm)on a 7" wheel.
so you can use a 265-295 on your 10.5" wide wheel. you decide.
if you DO get 4 new tires. for an 18x9 you should do from a 255-275. ideal setup for you should be like 255/265 front and 275/295 rear. that is what i would do.

And do you know if I would need to roll my fenders ? Again I'll be getting 18x9 +25 front and 18x10.5 +20 rear, and I want to lower it a bit on coils so I can get rid of the gap not crazy low just a bit

Thanks man, I take your advice and go with 245-255/40/18 and 275-285/40/18.

You will need a lot of camber and will still rub, the tire is way to tall. 275/35 would be a better choice.
