With the right offsets and maybe a small spacer you can run a 315 in the back without rubbing.
I'm still on a stock unrolled rear fenders and the BFG R1S just barely squeezed in there. Rubbed a little on the driver side EVAP plastic but that fixed itself
edit: Passenger side, not driver
They seriously should suspend posting the morning after major holidays. Posting hungover can be dangerous.

I'm thinking of going with wheels 19x10 or 19 x 9.5.
Not really sure what the offset will be yet since I don't know which wheels Im going to go with. The car is completely stock still.

235 Front & 285 rear tire setup
Hi everyone,
I was thinking of installing the following setup below on my Z and I wanted to get your feedback on the setup. As far as handling, comfort, and looks.
New tire setup: Front: Toyo 235/40/R18
Rear: Toyo 285/35/R18
Right now the suspension is stock and the tires are on 18' XXR rims
Old tire setup: Front: Hankook's 295/30/ZR18
Rear: Hankook 295/40/ZR18
Any feedback on my new soon to be tire setup? I'd appreciate any info. Pic below is the old tire setup from the previous owner. Tires worn unevenly on the inner side.

07 stock base wheels tire options?
what size tires are people running or have run on their stock 07 base 18" wheels?
I want to go up in tire size, but on the stock 18's
the guys at bridgestone recommended i run 245/45/18 font and 265/40/18 rear? but I'm not sure about the 45 up front with the 40 in the rear...
I read on here of people running 245/40/18 front and 275/40/18 rear?
but is that on the stock wheels? is that going to fit/look good on stock suspension?
i do have plans of running the hotchkis springs w/sway bars set up.

Yeah i read and stated the information from that post. However my main Question was will that work on the stock 07 18's. the post didnt make that clear.. you can only run so wide of a tire on a 8.0"wide front rim 8.5"wide rear rim can u safely run a 275/40/18 on the rear rim oven though its only 8.5" wide... i understand it will fit but will the side wall collapse and blow out during aggressive cornering?
Of course it won't blow out, I have no idea who gave you that info

Yeah I guess its not necessary to change anything from OEM.. however I want more grip on the road when I'm pushing the car threw the turn... and yes the width of the rim does matter and determines how much wider of a tire you can safely fit on the rim...

yeah I thought about getting different wheels but i really don't mind the stock one's and i just wanted to know if i ran them a bit longer how much tire can i have on them... and if its that's not enough for me than ya ill have to step up to some new wheels. i just thought id put money into other places first since i have no initial beef with the stock ones.

Wow, such rude. If mike is looking to get some wider tires because his current ones are worn i feel like it would be logical to look for tires a bit wider, as he is doing. Just looking at tire manufacturers suggestions it looks like a 275/40r18 would fit on the rear rim(8.5'') and a 255/40r18 would fit on the front rim (8''). These would be a good bit wider than stock, and still staggered correctly for vdc. I don't actually have any experience fitting theses though.
