Default tires for nismo lmgt4's

would it be fine to use my 225/45/18 and 245/45/18 tires with the lmgt4's or would it be a problem to not have wide enough tires for the wheels? i know using the less wide tires will defeat some of the benefit of having wider wheels, but i can't afford to buy the wheels and two new tires now. eventually i'd move the 245/45's up front and get wider wheels for the rear.

You need to visit the tire manufacturer's website and take a look at their spec sheet for your particular tire. They will give you an advisable range for the wheel widths that are acceptable for the LMGT4's.

Also, in the future you'll need to list the specs on the LMGT4's (such as are they both the same width or the 8.5" & 9.5" width combo----->off the top of my head, I think the 225's work with the 8.5", but the 245's might be too narrow for the 9.5" wheels).

those fit but look funny.
my friend got his volk le37 in same size/ same offset as nismo and put stock rubbers.
and i have nismo with rgith size tires. his don't look slcik as mine but it fits and he's drving it for 1/2 year w/o any issue.

its kinda stratch but works. if you are so tight on the budget...

thanks for the info guys. turns out the lmgt4's (18x8.5f, 18x9.5r) would be out of bridgestones recommended specs, so i'll just wait a little while before i can afford two more tires and the wheels just to be safe.

yea it would def be potenza s03's. that's what i'm on now, and since i'd just use the rear tires on the front for the lmgt4's since i got them like 800 miles ago, i'd just buy new s03's for the back.
