The thin 5 spoke with a strong center theme looks great. Thanks for the post!

Is your color miss match really that bad? It looks 2 toned. S/S and C/S on the bottom and bumper.

I oredered these from TireRack
Specifics:
245/35/19X 8.5 fronts with 37 offset
275/35/19X 10 rears with 41 offset
S-03's Pole positions

My original plan was to add spacers that are still sitting in the box. After I put them on I decided to leave it as is. Pictures don't give the full effect. Also it's funny but CS seems to change with the movement of the sun. The color isn't off that much but I'm starting to think that it maybe a little. The Silver on the GT3's match the CS perfectly.

do you have a close-up of just the wheel? what was the total of just the wheels and then w/ everything if you don't mind me asking? is it possible to change the center caps to say nissan or no? i really like them! yeah what's the ride quality on these? wow i liked the ray's the best but thought they looked like smaller 17" b/c of their curve but your wheels look great! i wonder if they have your wheel exactly except not twin spoke - just regular 5 spoke? geez those wheels are soooo expensive. i think i'm gonna order the enthusiast and then order aftermarkets, maybe ssr's or hre's if i can afford it. hey why did you choose these over the hre's? or what about the I-forged? also, what's the weight difference? haha sorry for all the questions but your rims are great!

haha what's ssr's website? i guess i can view their wheels from tirerack.com

the thing i don't understand about wheels is the lips like the reverse lip, double lip, etc. When i buy wheels in 18" for instance, I want them to look like 18" rims not smaller b/c of the lip. For instance, the 18" SSR GT1's probably look bigger than the 18" SSR GT3's b/c the GT3's have all the extra lip and bolts and stuff. What is your opinion? What made you choose the GT3's over the GT1's or other wheels? The same thing is true with HRE wheels - they have so many different kinds like 445, 545r, 545, 645 etc that all look the same but all look different - what's the deal?

The wheels and the car look great! As for the color changing, I was looking at my car in different light and it does the same thing, depending on angle. It's redline.

geez those wheels are 5 and 6 hundred each. so the optional R means you can get wider rear tires/wheels which is what you did. cool. i wish i could see actual Z's in person w/ the moda r6, ssr gt3's, ssr gt1's and the I-forged. Its hard to decide w/ a tiny little picture and its usually not even on a Z haha. decisions decisions! man i don't even have a Z yet!

dmcgibbo You have so many questions I can't possibly answer them all. I will attemt to answer a couple. Yes, they are a little expensive. $549 apiece for the front wheels and $639 for the rear. Total cost including delivery was $3418 including the S-03's. What made me chose the GT3's over the other brands wasn't easy. First off you always want things done right the first time. I too was looking at other wheels that were cheaper and without a lip, wheels that looked bigger because the spoke go all the way to the end of the rim. Then it happened....I saw a Red Toyota Supra in my neighborhood with some deepdish 5-spokes. I immediatly thought of the GT3's. Even though I think the perfect offset for the Z is 30 front and around 33 rear, I got them anyway. I'm glad I did. I let my friend drive just so I could see them spin. They were the best choice.... Oh yeah, the center cap is removable but i didn't ask TireRack for an Nissan emblem.

RIDE QUALITY

The ride quality is noticable when you're coming from 17's like I did. I'm sure if you're coming from 18's you probably wouldn't notice much difference. The S-03's make a world of difference. I feel stopping has improved tremendously.

what do the spacers do? stick the wheels out further? does that decrease performance/stability/safety?

how much is it to lower the car a half an inch?
