Default Recently lowered, squeeking

Just lowered my Z-ha with the Hotchkis TVS kit, and a squeeking sound has started coming from the rear right tire well... it happens on bumps... a high pitched creaking.

It isn't the axle spline creaking, I had that taken care of a while ago. This started just today.. i was lowered 3 days ago. Any ideas?

Check your rear sways. It might not be seated properly or needs additional lubrication on the rubber mounts. If that doesn't fix it, check your spring setup. Not sure if it'll cause any squeeking but my shop had to cut a small part of the OEM bump stops for clearance issues. I was told by Hotchkis that this kit does not require a bump stop since it doesn't lower your car that much but I still wanted one so I had the OEM modified to fit. Not sure if your installer removed it completely or left it on.

Ditto, if this kit includes sways they may not have lubed the bushings enough resulting in the squeal.

What kind of grease do the sways use anyway? There are so many choices, I don't want to buy the wrong kind . I remember the warning on the Hotchkis Sways were to not use lithium.

The kit came with some grease. I hope they used enough during the install.. I am going in for the alignment this week, so will ask if they lubricated the sways enough.

What kind of grease should I use.. I don't think there is enough of the supplied stuff left.. I have some anti-seize compound, will that work? Or do I need a grease type?

I was told to use Marine non-synthetic grease.

Marine non-synthetic... any reason why it has to be non-syn??? I just went in today and exchanged the anti-seize with Valvoline semi-synthetic DuraBlend Grease... says it can be used for: chassis, suspension, CV joints, universal joints... etc. Am I good with this? It is just grease.. whats the diff?

I am not sure, that is just what I was told. I would try contacting Hotchkis or one of their dealers.

I called Hotchkis today and asked them what type of grease was the best... and sure enough, they recommended the Marine non-synthetic... says it won't wash away like the synthetic stuff. So there you go and there you go.
