I like my 19" LE37Ts but if I had it to do all over again, I would go with a light weight 17 or 18" wheel. While driving the tail of the dragon, I felt as if I was going to fly off the road on every curve. The 19s just do not have enough sidewall for really good handling. They sure do look good though. When I put my stock 17s back on, I can tell an immediate difference in cornering capabilities and the tires are not nearly as wide!!
Running Gunmetal TE-37's with 255 on 9.5+22 up front and 285 on 10.5+22 in the rear. Fenders had to be rolled to avoid rubbing when lowered. Here's a link to an old post I had pics on: https://my350z.com/forum/wheels-and-tires/113650-pics-255-on-9-5-22-285-on-10-5-22-a.html I like the 19's for the street, but have a set of 17's for the track. Sold my OEM 18's a little while ago.
my dad has 19s on his porsche.. i took it for a spin up in the caleveras hills.. the handle was pretty good and responsive (he also has coilovers).. like stock but i would say it imrpoved.... but thats a porsche and i have a Z.. do anybody have any experiences in really twisty situations? what about in a drag race with say an evo.. anybody lost due to extra weight?
