wheel spacers???
Anybody know off hand what the widest wheel spacer size is that can be safely used?
Will a 1/2" spacer work with stock lugs and asuming of course you have fender clearance?
Thought I once read that a 3/4" spacer was the widest that can be used on the Z but that seems like an awful thick spacer to me to be safe especially using stock bolts and lugs.
Thanks

I'm not sure you realize how the spacers go on. They generally include longer stud bolts. I don't know the widest spacer that can be used (also they're sold in mm, not inches and I was looking at 15-20mm rear for my car). Best option is to try to buy the wheels with the correct offset in the first place (which I thought I did, but there seems to be a bit of room which I'm not completely happy about).

even if you put on a 5mm spacer you will have to upgrade to longer hub bolts...
H&R Spacers include longer hub bolts...
TEhy are availble in 5mm, 15mm, 20mm, 25mm...

Jason,i'd like to know if longer hub bolts are hard to install -- do i need to remove original hub bolts(for DRS type 15+20) -- compared to DRM type 25 which are easy since hub bolts are already fixed on the 25 spacer ?
Thanks
Thanks

yes you have to remove the original bolts for DRS Spacers...
You have to remove the caliper, rotor, tap out each wheel stud... pull the new ones in... and then you are set...

18x8 +38mm you should get a 15mm spacer...
18x9 +38mm you should get a 15mm spacer...
You could do 20mm but then you would have to do some fender rolling in the rear depending on your height...
