Default Painting wheels?

Hey I have been looking everywhere for affordable black wheels to go on my superblack coupe, and I've just about given up. How much would it be to get wheels that I like that aren't black and have them painted the superblack of the Z? Where would I go to get this done? Thanks.

Around here in Boise, from what I hear it would be about $100 a wheel to have them powdercoated any color you want. My buddy has a hookup, and says he can get them for $50 a wheel. I don't know where you're at, but I'd ask around and find a trusted powdercoater and see if any of your friends have a connection. You can also use a spray on wheel paint, which a lot of my friends are using. I think it's about $20 worth of paint to do all 4 wheels, and it looks pretty good, considering the price. I would suggest this as an option mainly if you are wanting to paint the stock wheels. If you're going to lay down $2K+ for a set of Volks or Works or whatever, I wouldn't touch them with the spray-on wheel paint. My buddy painted his stock Z 17s with the spray stuff, and it looks really good. I can take a pic if you want to see what it looks like, but I probably won't see him until next weekend. Anyway, hope this helps.
