Default Anyone cancelled a volk order before? What happens?

Guys, I ordered some volks a long time ago but the vendor isn't responding to my pm's etc.

If I cancel, will they charge me?

Trying to get a deal on some locally that I saw for much cheaper than what I'm getting them brand new.

Thanks for the insight. Kinda sucks, the guy has $1200 of my money as deposit already so I'll need to ask for it back.

Its not them. Its a great company--local here. I'd rather not mention the name but i'm just wondeirng b/c I could really use the money savings. If not f it I'll have brand new rims. just wondering if there is a cancellation fee considering they ordered them etc.

surely someone has cancelled their order before...what are the repercussions?

Amen. I dont want to be a b*** to the vendor, considering I asked them to order the wheels. At the same time, why should I not save money?

I canceled an order with 350z onlinestore. I also put down a $500 deposit and they let me cancel my order and refunded all my money back.

Whats with people thinking their rims are worth what they paid minus jsut $100 ? Screw that, I'll just buy brand new. This dude was asking 3200 for a used *** set, 80-85% on mismatched tires..

sheesh...

I'll let some idiot buy them for that much. No cancellation for me ahhaha thanks for the help guys.

Well even if you're not cancelling, here's my take on this.

What you are responsible for is based on your sales agreement with the vendor. If the sales agreement states a fee for cancelled orders, then you are responsible for those. You might also have coverage under other circumstances such as the vendor not delivering the correct product, or the product within a speficied time period. Again this is in your sales agreement.

One more layer of protection is how you paid. If you are going credit card, then you have up to 60 days to dispute the charges, after that you are probably on your own (unless the vendor again breached the sales agreement/contract).

I suggest you call the vendor and ask to talk to an actual human being on the phone. Then keep on calling that person and bug the hell out of them until you get your wheels.

Good luck.

Did you order to SF Winning? I'll be ordering those soon--but I think I may just go with the +29 on the rear instead of +17. What offset did you go with? (if you went with the Winning..)

That one guy never posted pix. He was going with the +19 front, and +29 rear offset (9.5"f/10.5"r). I think he was getting his rims in late May/early June..

That seems to be the M.O. of 90% of people selling Volks. That's why I decided to go with new ones.

Yah..my wheels are a suprise. Honestly either offset will be fine amit. Just get the ings kit to pull it all together. Of course once we're both done we need to take pics together. You can come to my house.

I dont understand why people think they have such high resale value with mismatched, used tires and used up rims. Ah well I guess that is free enterprise and for $100 more I would be stupid not to buy brand new (the "wear" on the tires is enough for me to justify it).

Peace all! Fyi I'm not cancelling my order anymore, so yeah..thread can be closed.
