those wheels are cool. they remind me of the monikers the saxons used to wear as they charged into battle.

Hey, they look nice! Are they Sparkling or Mercury silver?

Post the fronts so we can check out what the lip looks like on the 8.5!

i got them for $1850 shipped. (remember the volks in front of that familiar 240 sx) in the for sale forum? Im not sure if i can get my g/f to take all of the pics..im in iraq.she's mad enough that i have all of my mods taking up two rooms ofmy house. But as soon as i get them on in about 6 weeks (when i go on r&r) i will post my pics. I am soooo stoked and cannot wait. Im trying to figure out which tires to put on..im thinking of either the Michelin PS or maybe the toyo t1-r's. thanks for the comments guys...

Thanks mate - I thought so. Great choice, simple as that.

I am about to place an order for mine although I'm going for the 9.5/10.5 combo. My only concern with the 8.5f was whether there is enough lip, which is why i've been bugging you to post some photos of your front rims!

Re the T1R's, I spoke to Toyo today who told me they dont make a 275/35/19 which could be a hassle. Whether this is the case in the USA I'm not sure.

That was the combo (9.5/10.5) I wanted, but for 1850 shipped (8.5/9.5) on a new set i couldnt turn that down.. have you ordered your set yet?

I will order them tomorrow - long overdue I might add. I've been living my life around yours, nismo33's and theonetheonly's.....

The only thing I dont like about the 245f/275r tyres is that they look a bit stretched, but I dont think there is any way around it.

Next for me will be to lower the Z and then possibly a body kit. What other mods are waiting for you when you get back?

OK so far i have already recieved..

Blue grounding wires, 1/2" motordyne plenum, popcharger w/spl intake tube, cusco front a arms, rear spc camber arms/toe bolt, varis c/f intake, wheels, cusco strut bar (back ordered). Invidia G200 exhaust. Alpine radio with Alpine amps and subwoofers/understrut box and mb quartz 6 1/2 speakers with 3/4" tweets.

Ordering this month-tokico struts, eibach springs, sways (probably stillen with new bushings), kenetix cats and Lemans spoiler and some rubber for the tires.

Month after next im looking at the Wilwood 13" BBk in blue and a lip kit (not sure if im going to get nismo or veilside v1) still deciding.
I love bubbles "initial D" but im not sure what im looking at in painting cost. Im going to see how much i can get for my 18" performance alloy wheels/tires to offset some of that cost when i sell them. Im also looking at installation prices for some of this so depending on how much time i have will depend on what gets installed first. Im going to get the under carriage all done at the same time then work on the motor. The radio will be done first and foremost though.

On the tires, Im looking at going with the 255/275 combo. Keeping the 20mm difference as close to OEM 225/245 as I can as not to throw off my vdc..(thanks jet ) After all this i think im pretty set. Seeing i dont have a sponser and i really dont have the time to go to any events all the cost is dumped on me, but hey thats why i bought the car right?

My g/f is telling me I need to start throwing some money into getting my yard done. Another 10G for irrigation/sod/plants..If you notice on my avatar my yard is... well...dirt.. but hey, you cant take it with you when you die. Can you?

Nismo33's ride is beautiful. theonetheonly is sweet!! Mine at this point is still bone stock..lol..Ive seen so many beautiful cars on this forum its sad. I cant compete with the level of knowledge or the level of enthusiasm that some of these people have when it comes to the Z. I feel as if I just gather my ideas, place an order and wait on the day that I can put everything on. On car I have been particularly impressed with is Bubbles. His car is ... well i cant put it into words..but that roadster with the inital D kit is gorgeous.

What kit are you looking at?

Nismo33 is rock solid. I could only hope mine would look that good. I was skeptical at first with the black and CF but the more i look at it and the more i like it, especially with the GT-AV's. I hate you have to wait so long on yours. did you say you were going with mercury silver?

t1-r's all the way. Also, since the offset small on this wheel, go with 255x35 front and 285x35 rear. It will flush in better.

Paiting job for bodykit should run you in the range of $1400 to $2000. about BBK, may i suggest Rotora or Stoptech (if money is not an issue for you) They'll look much better.

I replied on another thread you had posted on, but good to see that you got your wheels. I looking forward to see how they look with a BBK. Looks like you got big plans for your car, good luck with everything.

Bubble, are you talking about these tyres to fit a 8.5f/9.5r set up or 9.5f/10.5r?
