Default What PSI with aftermarket wheels/tires?

Does the recommended PSI change depending on what wheels and tires are on the car? It was 35psi with my 18" wheels. I have 19" wheels now and wondering if I should be running a different PSI. I have toyo t1-s. They only have the max PSI written on the tire.

yes it is different and unfortunately i cant say what it is cause i dont think anyone can tell you.

what you have to do is try different psi's out. what you want off the bat is something that feels good as far as handling and once you have that you want to monitor the tire wear. after a few weeks you should find a nice compromise between something that handles well but also wears evenly across the tires.

every tire does have a max pressure reading on the sidewall. you should not have to get anywhere near there.

fyi: on my low profs 19's i am running 40 psi cold all around.

good luck!!
