My guess is he wants to get Goodyear F 1 GS D3s and GY does not make a 225/45 18.

I went through the same thing & finally decided against it. I went with Toyo T1 Rs with stock sizes.

The reason is simple, I have 2 of these laying around, and wanted to throw em on as opposed to buying new tires.

Lease up soon.

So question remains, any negative impact, or will is just be ugly.

Or will it not be ugly, or who knows what it will be.

Wheres our sponsor and there knowledge, especially since I bought 6 tires from them in last 6 months.

4 for minivan, and 2 for rear of Z.

Thanks in advance.

PS I use to love the car and never would have done this but 2.5 years later the love affair is ended. I will start cheating soon, as I go and test drive possible replacements.
Range from 300M to Lotus Elise.

you need to calculate the stagger btwn front and rear tires. if its much more than stock, you may have problems with your vdc/tcs. you can find the stagger info on this site.

Yes u can do that. I'm running 225/40/18 wanli's in the front and 245/45/18 Yokohama AVS ES100 in the back. No wierd lights or anything.

Yes I know I'm running a crappy tire on the fronts, but they work fine so far for daily driving and I got them CHEAP. Plus I won't cry as much if they feather. (which they are starting to do already)
