Default Corner Balancing

1. What is corner balancing?

2. Where can I get it done? Cost?

3. What are the goals for the Z?

4. Does corner balancing utilize ride height adjustments @ each corner?

5. Should the car be corner balanced with the driver?

6. What level should the fuel tank be?

Thanks

1)conner balancing is as what it says, optimizing the wt% front and rear, left and right.(usually in a front engine car, left and right balance is more important)
2)shops that have conner weight scales should be able to do it for you, cost depends.
3)dont get what your asking.
4)yes, conner balance adjsuts height in each conner to increase/decrease weight percent in each conner, so coilover is a must.
5)yes, conner balance should be balanced with driver or anything that will be in the car while racing.
6)fuel tank should be at the level where the gas tank will be during the race.ie. if you start your race half of a tank, you should have it a quater while conner balancing, so you'll start off a bite off when start and finishing the race, but have the right balance during the race.

hope this helped.

as i said, conner balancing for a front engine car is usually focus on left to right ratio.
so you want your weight at front left and front right be equal, same for the rear.

Soooo..... the weight should be distributed evenly? 25% each wheel? If the car is 3000lbs them 750 pounds each corner?

mabye its my english, but there's no way you can adjust front and rear weight percent to 50%.
the goal of conner balance your car is so it will handle evenly through both left and right turns; in essence, equalizing how much weight gets transferred during cornering. With the engine in the front, you can forget about getting the car balanced between front and rear. You can however, balance the car left to right.
when you put your car in a conner balance, you'll see the weight on each 4 conners.
you're trying to get your front left weight to be the same as your front right weight, and your rear left weight to be the same as your rear right weight.

Got it....

Is there any reason that the Z from the factory is higher in the back than the front?

Does that have something to do with weight transfer?

Is there an ideal split between front to rear I should be looking for? 53F/47R?

Thanks for your time....
