Default Better Tire than S0-3 Pole Position's ???

I have S0-3's 245/35R19 (9.5" Rim) & 285/30R19 (10.5" Rim) Tein FlexOvers w/EDFC / 1" Drop / EDFC setting I use most is F12 R11

I really love my S0-3's I don't think there is a much better tire out there, plus I like the whay they look on my SF Winnings, I'm in the market for new tires any ideas? Looking for better Dry Performance, if possible...

Future Suspension upgrades Cusco Sways and SPC Rear Camber/Toe kit...

I have heard from some road racers that the S-03s are really not a great tire at all. That being said, I have not had a chance to try them myself, but I trust their opinion and experience quite a bit in this category. I have heard that Kuhmo makes a really nice tire for the money and I have heard good things about the Michelins although they are very pricey. I personally have the Toyo T1-S tires and really like them as far as wet/dry traction, but the high speed cornering is a little weak on 19s. The T1-Rs are supposed to improve upon many aspects and will be my next tire.

I've Driven on the T1-S on a Z, same tire size stock suspension... I liked my S0-3 better. I might try the PS2's not crazy about the tread pattern...

I was also looking at the BF Goodrich g-Force T/A KDW. I drove an M3 with Dinan Suspension and a fresh set of KDW's very sticky... Did not like the car to much in the turns, but the tire was pretty nice...

Confusing....

Check out some these links... They are using old PS's not PS2's

Here

and Here

Seems like the difference in the "high end street tire" catagory is very minimal...

I just ordered BF Goodrich KDW2...new tread pattern, very aggresive look and performance is supposedly very good. Check them out, they come in the right sizes too.

I got 255/35/19 front and 285/35/19 rear...Icheck with me in a week I'll let you know what I think.

New rims - Ggames Sidewinder Gunmetal/with polished lip 19x9 and 19x10

The PS and the PS2 are words apart.

Michelins are nice, but pricey compared to the rest. I say that all good tires are gonna be a tad pricey, but if i were to choose. My two favorites would be Toyo and Yokohoma. IMO those are to two best tire brands on the market. I have driven cars with both brand tires and they will not disappoint.

They sure are! Sorry, I had to...

SO-3's are still my favorite tires to date (compared to the old Pilot Sports) but I have not tried the Yokohama's or the PS-2's.

A lot of people on the tire rack survey like the S03's over PS2's and vise-a-versa... RE50A has the best survey feedback, also one of the fewest reported miles.... I can't imagine a significant difference between these tires.

I was hoping to get g-Force KD's cause of this article (Click Here) ; our car pulled 1.0g with an lsd, sways, and fat KD's, on a stock suspension! And again they don't make these tires bigger than 18".

I'm not sure if the KDW's are as good as the KD's

If you want supper sticky 18"s I would go with BF Goodrich g-Force KD's. Close to a 'R' compound Tire. However you will sacrafice Wet performance and have a short tire life. Not sure how perdictable they are?

S0-3's are good from a stand still (driver skills big factor), they are the most perdictable tire I've ever owned. From launching, to all types of turns they are very sticky, if the tire is loosing grip from a launch or in a hard .98g turn you will sense it early; allowing the driver to make adjustments...

As far as rain, truly amazing. Performs like a all season tire (not for snow) I never hydroplain... I'd sacrafice some wet performance for even better dry...

I'll probably by S03's again... Not sure if there is better Street tire.
