Default Wheel Technical Guide

Okay... the site improvements have gotten us a wheel & tire forum!

Now, how about some of those who have swapped wheels sharing some of their knowledge. I'd like to see this thread get "fixed at the top" like the Zaino Q&A thread in the Detailing section.

Basically, let share some information useful to anyone replacing wheels on their Z.

1. How about a list of correct offset ranges based on rim size and or brand? Anyone???

2. Anyone care to weigh in on how they got their tire pressure sensors mounted on their aftermarket rims? Anyone??? Beuller???

3. Tires... special mounting considerations?

4. Clearance issues?

I hope someone out there has some useful knowledge to share. I, for one, hope to upgrade my wheels by spring and would appreciate having a single information topic to hit to get the info I need.

I tried starting a similar thread...no luck
Seems everyone is more than happy to post the information you and I would like...but prefer to post it sporadically in reference to various threads throughout this forum. I'd contribute...but am hoping the information others have to share will help me make the right decision. Good luck!

Sounds Good

I found the offsets in this post to be along the lines of what your looking for.
