Just changed from factory 18"s to volks 19"s and it seems that there is a bigger clearance gap in the rear compared to the front.
it almost looks like dmh350z setup https://my350z.com/forum/wheels-and-tires/130437-finally-new-shoes-volks-gt-c.html
i never noticed this gap when i had factory's on.
any thoughts?
just wondering.
thanks

What offset did you get? Offsets make a little difference in looks.
I found that out when I was getting 19" Maya (Maido) GR5 for my Lexus SC430.
When I order the Maya wheels for my Lexus, the place where I got the wheels ordered high offsets. It was like 4? offset. It barely had any lips for both fronts & the rear. After installing them, it didn't even look like it was 19's and the car seemed to be really high so I told them that was unacceptable so they reorder and switched the wheels for me with low offset.
I specificly had them order lowest offset that can go on Lexus SC430 along with bigest lips. After doing some calculation and measuring, they ordered were 19x9 +26 offset for the front & 19x10.5 with +29 offset for the rear. The great thing about these offset were that it would also fit my 350Z
.
Anyway, back to the point. When you get a wheels with low/aggresive offset, it tends to have bigger lips & make the wheels gap seems smaller.
Just my thought.
