Default Thinking of getting TSW Thruxton...

anyone have any experience with these wheels? (http://www.discounttiredirect.com/pr...thx.hb.xl.jpg). Also, what type of offset do i need for my Z? I am looking to get 19in rims front and back...and will be putting 245's up front and 275's in the rear....so I was wondering what are some measurements, sizes, ratios, etc... that i need to be aware of when getting a this type of setup? Thankz!

I have had mine for about 3 months, no problems at all with fit or finish. I love the rims and they do turn heads. I have the 20's and you should know that the lip in the rear is much larger than the 19's.

nice rims. i have these in 19's. have had them for a year and they also seem to hold up real well. of course they get stored for the winter and i put stocks back on then.

you need the 20 offset both front and back. and i think even then the fronts are not quite flush. but thats the best offset they have. rears will be real close to flush.

What exactly do you mean by the wheels being "flush?" Do they stick out alot or something? Thankz!

Yeah, hes referring to the side wall of the rim/tire sticking out from the fender.

Default 20"TSW Thruxton Black with chrome lip

Here are my 20" TSW Thruxton Black with a chrome lip. The front's are 245/35 and the rear's are 275/35. I had the wheels dipped in chrome and then powder coated black (one of a kind). They look amazing. A 5" lip in the back and a 2.5" in the front.

I am using falken azenis st115 tires. THey are 245/35 in the front and 275/35 in the rear. They do not stick out at all. THey fit perfect. The rims run about $400 each for the rear and $300 each for the front. Then they were dipped in chrome and powder coated black. I happened to come across these wheels and tires at a very low low cost. Only $1500 for everything. You can say that i got lucky.

sorry i could not respond quicker. but with the wrong offset the wheels and the rubber will be too tucked in inside the fender. I believe the offsets for the wheels are 20, 35 and 40mm. dont even think about the 35 and 40. 20mm all around and your wheel will fill the hubs out nice.

with the fronts, our cars have so much room up there even the 20 mm is a touch tucked in. not much though.

sorry for the delay in the response.

Guys,
Any recommendations for TSW Thruxton in 18inch wheels. What size diameter to use and what offset?. I want the rims to fill the gap yet I dont want the rims to scratch on roadbumps. Please advise.

Thanks
Sal
