Answer is yes, but I'm used to it after running big rims on my previous car too. Worth the sacrifice for the look. Besides, I've got a set of race wheels/tires for the track anyways...

For something different from the Volks, look at the wheels from Complete Custom Wheels. Their wheels are on the Z raced by the guys from Performance Nissan. Their web site is www.ccwheel.com.
I have the SP200's. They are forged with a polished finish. Warning: Pictures attached are pretty large.

But again that has a lot to do with the tires you select. I'm running Toyo T1-R in 245*35 and 275*35.
