Default Wheel Offsets

First excuse the newb question, but I need some assistance. I have my eyes on two sets of wheels:

(1) 19x8.5 w/20 offset and 19x9.5 w/20 offset

(2) 20x9 w/37 offset and 20x10 w/38 offset

I'm looking for the right offset so that these wheels pretty much extend to the fender. Are these offsets pretty good?

Thanks guys.

Stay away from ANY and ALL offsets in the 30s. You will want to go with setup (1).

Fully agree with Tut, you want really low offsets, specially in the rear. If you really fall in love with a wheel with 30+ offset then you need to look at getting spacers to get the wheels out.

I have 20x9" fronts with 28 offset and 275/30/20 tires, they are IMO perfect alignment with enough margins so they will never rub but are still flush with the car side.

For the rear you want to have alot less offset, if you run 9½ wheels, 20 or even less is recomended if you want it to be really flush. I have 20x10½" rears with 30mm offset and today i fitted a 5mm spacer to get them to flush perfectly. So if you get those 19x9½ rears with 24mm offset i would recomend you to get a 5mm spacer (can usually be fitted on the stock pinbolts wihtout any mods, 5 minute install and low cost)

Good luck

/Roger
